Hi everybody
l would like to do a General Annoucement with Dave's Permission
It is great to have Agility Trader on our side...Many thanks to Dave...
However the main core of our success/ failure stand with a strong proven manual strategy... as a navigation system for the beast...l presume everyboby here is working on his own presets
1) Some may have a proven strategy to share with us
2) Some others may have better capacities to preset it
3) Some others may have more time to test 24/24 5D/W
l suggest for those interesting to share , we can form workforce with the goal to help each other finding the best presets...Test it...And create a result's ledger accessible to everybody in the group …
We are stronger together...l know individuality is king these days...Luckily helping each other is still valuable for me...Dave gave us a wonderful gift, lets honor him in working together on a common goal.
Let me know what you thing about this idea, if you have any suggestion do not hesitate
If you are interesting to contribute tell us what group suit you best (1-2-3)...For myself, l am group 3, can try hard on 2 but until now so far l failed group 1... Hope some of you guys will be in 1
l will compile the results to see if the project is feasible

Seems l am alone in my workforce Nice try ben...
Have so many questions to ask you...as you went throught all this...
In your live account, do you stop EA's during news...
l ask because just burned out my testing...
So far no bug yet...
So many variables can affect our positions in the market...
So many ajustments into a sole indic itself, so many good indics to try, many TF...Doubled the task if you had 1 indic as a filter, tripled it if you had another...etc etc
Testing may be endless if we do it alone without a good start...
My tounge is burning to ask you what is your favorite indic, settings, TF, just to have a base to start...As you gave us already a lot...l stop here...and l continue my testing...
Same as have 3 demo's running...It's a turtle run...

EDIT: Remember now you said at post 56 (RSI 60M) with a preset...will restart with it...

Take your time and slow down a little bit. lets just start with 1 simple methodology. There are so many proven methods that will work but everyone thinks they have to reinvent the wheel. Dave has given a wonderful tool to implement solid trading ideas, but it wont cure the lack of a proven idea. There are ideas right here on FF that will produce profits on a regular basis.....and they can be implemented with Daves tool.
Take a look at this thread... http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=486543 this little simple system produces good money. Start there and then work your way forward one idea at a time.
Do not give in to the temptation to over complicate things. Curve fitting is your worst enemy and you will do well to keep it as simple as possible moving forward. Please resist the urge to try and filter out the losers.
What everyone is looking for can be summed up in 2 simple little statements.
40-60% win rate and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL W/L Ratio of 2 : 1 or higher nothing else matters except what is between your ears and your ability to stand tall when the losing streaks come....and they will
