Yes it is 5 pips, the tf showed doesn't matter because it is the way how mt4 works with the off line chart it need for special bar.

Yes, you are right, i was watching right now the market, and i see no movement, only crazy candle going up and down randomly.

Sometimes spread is too high in GBPJPY, so I kept bar size 10. Today its mostly range bound.

I might be wrong, but I think the chart's time log on bottom might have the answer.
5:15AM sounds like an early enough start in the morning....
so I would think he was just asleep at the mark trades?
there is always, always another trade!!

and its the second question of mine... what im trying to be sure of is: is there any technical reasons for make that situation NOT tradable or just timing matter?
does it work in any time or needs a particular time ? like it only works in us session ? not London or the others ? i think this is inportant to know from developer...
but thanx for sharing ideas, this is what turns the wheels...

yes, time matter a lot, but also keep in mind that even the perfect setup is not a guarantee for profit. I have seen many good setup that fail. Have losing trades is part of the game.

Hey GW, hope you had a great Easter. That was a great trade!! I did not trade today as the volume was so light. For me I might have gotten out where you did but then reentered once price broke out again and continued up. My AO was still well above the zero line so it would have been good either way. But anytime you ring the register with a profit, it is a good day.

what kind of volume tool u use kthrap?

In Forex we can track tick Volume, but for me I just follow my range bar and tick charts. If they are slow then I do not trade.

About your first chart, both the entries were ok for me, but the second entry if you see on the left there is the higher high very close (around 3.00 o clock) where i would put my tp and the risk reward is not the best.
About the second chart it would be also a good entry in my opionion.
If i am not wrong those setup are after london open, so i would take the first entry in your first chart, maybe the second setup too, but my tp would be at the same level of the price of 3.00 o clock, and the entry in your second chart.
That is my small opionion, there is nothing wrong with those setup.

But again, even the perfect setup can fail! Once we enter a trade, we are prepared to lose.
