Would like to ask how you would handle news and gaps that result in some levels not being filled? Or you dont care because one side of the orders will be in huge profits, the other side in huge losses, and you slowly make use of the profits to try to close the losses?

the math is good it works on paper

if we are in strong trend with small pullbacks we are in trouble

only safe way to manage strong news its hedging your position before news so you also avoid slippage

Hi remon, Thank you for this interesting strategy. 30 years ago I purchased a book called OPTIONS. I knew nothing about the market but the one thing I do remember is this. The writer said that there is a 5% margin if you trade in both directions "hedging" as it is called today. What I am seeing with your system is that the software every now and then picks up a margin because of the way the market operates and takes advantage to make small consecutive profits.If I am correct in the way I see this system working i congratulate you and correct me if I am wrong.I look forward to your EA.

In your Video #2 price was going up at the beginning so the long profits could help to get out of the short side
What if markets goes down at the start of a new cycle. Does that mean that the short profits are shared to get out of the long side?
Simply just the other way round as in your Video
So it's always switching depending on which of the legs is currently in overall profit

Great Video Remon... hatsoff to you... you have put a lot of effort in conceiving the idea and creating it into video to explain to all of us...
the concept is good and it works.... i have a suggestion for you.... we are closing the hedged positions to close the losers and in this way, we are having too many open losers trades and if the market start to trend in one way without any retracement, then these big losers are going to grow as biggest losers but still we might have opened hedged positions and they are also growing but not enough to hedge all the losers....

so my suggestion would be to have the option in the EA settings that what percentage of the profits you want to accumulate and what percentage of profits you can use to close the losers. in the video, you are adding the 50% of profits into accumulation (right side) and 50% of profits to close the losers (left side). If we try to accumulate only 30% of profits and if we use 70% of profits to close the losers, in this way, we will be able to close too many losers quickly so that they won't grow enough to bite our capital later....this way we can make sure that we have some solid profits always and also keep the risk level in control....

Please let me know if this is not clear... so i can explain more.... also, you might have thought about this more than me, so if i'm wrong, please ignore me..

i have seen this idea and system before for sure . just have to think were if i remember correctly it was over at the other well known place for traders.

It is interesting that at 8:14 of the video the stategy is still in -30 pips Equity Loss (not considering the significant spread losses on previously closed trades), but it comes out of it with a nice net profit at the very end...

Real or Magic Trick...? If it were "for real", then what is the "edge"...?

Good question MasterGuru..... as per the video, the price retraced and then reduced the 77 pips in order to come out with profit at the end... i saw this same scenario and issue and that is why i came up with my post 136 above which would give a better control on this risk.... instead of closing the profits and accumulating when the losses are still open and may increase, we can close as much losses as quickly as possible by reducing the accumulating profit and try to slowly grow the profit.... we should be able to add more ideas on to this to even reduce the risk more....
