Working with 1 and 5 min charts, holding it mostly for a minute...he must be a nervous wreck after the session...i would be. Hope he can keep it up, but i have seen many come to good money(last week - trader goodboy example) and then they burn their accounts. If he does keep it up, i would not be surprised his broker sends out a Hit squad to his address.

Beast. I wonder how did he do that. Did he use martingale? Were there any SL on the trades? Certainly impressive though.

It's also interesting how quickly people claimed that he was a scam, although he does not have any commercial interest.

This is all doable....high leverage is the key.....that and an understanding of PA

Although I would not recommend trading the way he did, not unless you have negotiated with the broker special rates for HFT and the broker has specifically, in writing, accepted the trading method!! If this has not happened the Broker will not pay out.
99% of his trades lasted for less than 10 seconds, avg pips win = +1.8, avg pips loss = -1.3 the broker will likely say he was trading "Arbitrage".

Don't be impressed!! All he was doing was pressing open and then immediately closing the trade, the rest was down to the latency of the connection that is the only way he could have done so many trades, many of the trades lasted for less than 10 seconds even more for less than 5 - 6 seconds.

Take a $200 account and pop of net 10 pips a day at 100;1 leverage on each trade[adjust the lot size for each trade]......do this for 16 weeks.....its a staggering number....and more than possible.....make a money management plan based on this goal.....the downside is 200 bucks.....your broker will love you....consider him your partner instead of the enemy...

I agree again, but, if you pop off 10 x 1 pip trades and you do this on a daily basis without the prior agreement of the broker, the broker will not pay out.

trades like this have to be put on the brokers B Book, they are not passed on to the ECNs, A Book, it is not possible so the broker has to pay out of their own pocket, the broker has to cover your winnings by taking the other side of the trade, fast low pip trades are difficult for the broker to cover, this is why even when a broker says "Scalpers welcome" you will often see disputes between that broker and a trader.

I agree, do not consider the broker as your enemy because without the broker we would not have access to the market or the leverage, but we as traders have to be aware of the limitations of the "system" and if we try to buck the "system" be aware of the financial consequences.

These trades ran 39 seconds to almost 5 minutes....the goal was 5-10 pips but impatience and sometimes greed kept me away from 10 pips.....i rarely trade off the ren 1 and so far they are leaving me alone....the 10 pip a day theory was not based on scalping but rather just netting your average 10 pips a day consistently over a longer time period at a set leverage of 100 to 1

Really, don't be impressed. It is an arbitrage trading, you do not fight the market but rather the broker (or his liquidity provider). You can trade it with a simple EA, but you cannot achieve it manually, as the reaction must be very fast (50ms in all). This way I made 8k$ from $100 in just 2 hours (and Hotforex really paid me the amount), but they added 500ms processing time to market orders the next day, which disabled that trading style.

And here I thought the guy was a great trader. He did say that his trading was manual. It seemed odd enough, considering the average holding time is below 1 minute, some even below 10 secs.

Good morning all...
I want to know your opinion on a signal to close trades. I know this all comes to PA, levels, etc, however, want to come up with a closing signal using candles, or indicators, or a combination. You may have though of this, and would like to star a discussion around it.

For the renko method we are using, what would be better:

- Close a trade at first opposite candle
- Close at opoosite stochs cross
- Close at opposite MACD cross
- Trade with fixed SL and TP

Ok, no problem. Anyway, I have right to doubt that those trades were shot by a human. The human reaction on the chart event is around 1 second, which seems colliding with a 3-second 5-pip winner.

GOLD (BE, -15, +15, -15)

Argh. It wasn't my day. Second long missed my TP by 1 pip, retraced back just enough to kill my position at R:R 1:1, then shot off all the way to my TP. Third long was early, there was another leg-down before the run-up.
