Dove,

I'm getting so confused with the Daylight Savings Time now.

I've in Asia with a GMT +8. Do i have to do anything?

or trade as per normal before the DST change?

I'm using Forex.com and it shows here on my open 2 hour candles which is 6 hours 25 mins ago.

and there are 5 candles(including the sydney opening at 1700 + 5)

I trade on the 2h open candle. am i still doing the right thing now?

Help appreciated.

just a reminder folks, there are 24 hours in the day, if you don't see an opportunity, don't be hasty. It'll come. Personally, I can't see anything clear cut, unless I'm aiming for a 15-20 pip trade. As Dove said, more risky, so I'm waiting for a clear opportunity for a 40 pip trade.

I sold @ 126.75 with SL 40 and TP 40
Reason:
1) Divergence
2) H2 PURPLE cross WHITE
3) H2 candle open below EMA
4) Daily hit FIBO 50
5) H2 EMA red arrow

I just came back and saw the same. went in late.

The divergence should be over(IMO: shouldnt be referencing it anymore). Now i believe should be looking for the SAR for indication that the short trend is done or Towards H1 BB(or any resistance)

Update:

Ok H2 SAR came out

i'm out at +20 pips again.

I don't see a SAR attach to the current 2H candle.
Can you verify with chart please.

I'm using a tablet, i'll send it when i'm back home.
except the fibo which is not accurate(everything else should be ok). oh maybe the DST screw up my settings. Let me go back home, verify with my PC and then i'll post here.(in about 3 hours time)

Final Notes for all three charts:
On H2 chart from the last GREEN DIVERGENCE market hasn’t retraced down. So, I guess it’s still in the game and I’ m waiting for other down signals to appear. In this situation London opening H2 candle below EMA would be enough.

Friends,
We r now in consolidation and DB and SAR is moving together. SAR is not showing but it is there with the price tag.
So I think we should have a long entry at this 2H since we r on the 1D purple support.

Let's have a look at a quote from Dove ( only a part of post 2746, not all of it)

"...In consolidation when the DB is showing with the price tag you pretty much have an entry. Lets say you have a hit on support in consolidation and the DB (with the price tag) connects with the bottom of the support candle you then have a reversal on the swing. Same thing vice-versa. But you always want to wait for the next open 2 hour candle for an entry. In consolidation you could get the next candle to bump Higher/High or Lower/Low depending on trend of the swing and move to the next candle. But - you have a 40 stop and that will hold until the reversal. But other times it would just take off on the next candle for the reversal.

In trend is a totally different picture...."

Here is the 2H chart with SAR price Tag and 1 D purple support.

I Wonder if my thinking is good or not. Please share your ideas.

I see this consolidation will last for a few hours still as the Fibo on the 2H and 1H are still red and down. There needs to be a new low before we get a flip and a swing up.

I actually see a move further down to 2H ROMAR. In that case a short position off 2H Smooth resistance in a few hours.
