Im in and up about 9 pips was also in on audcad but got stopped out -30ish
Doesn't make me confident that the audusd trade will finish well :/

Nope it didn't at all, that proves we are technical traders rather than fundamentally based although you might have seen a lot of commotion on the EURUSD thread on ff if you follow them, those guys were in the market speculating. Need experience I suppose.

Hi Everyone. I am new to forums but not new to FX. I have been studying this strategy for a few days now and quite like it but I always keep an eye on the fundementals to go in hanbd with any technical strategy like this. I am currently monitoring Eur/AUD, hoping this houroly candle can push through all the MA's, lets see

The EUR pairs are disoriented, EURAUD signal but the news have break the LH, it's more careful to wait monday

I made quick 20 pips bouncing off of W.pivot. It might move up some more. CAD labor figure could be soft...

Well since the time I posted it is up by at least 40 pips. I had a limit order which did not filled by a few pips.

This is a good setup. I think the D chart showed it was in a downtrend as well.
If the D chart is in sync with the H4 in terms of trend, then it results in a high probability trend.

Hey - i was of the understanding that this would not be valid setup as the H4 showed a higher low (the price spike) and therefore this would not fulfill the criteria ?
I assumed the pullback which needs to be overbought in this scenario would need to be part of the overall downtrend (LH,LL)

If you check the D1 chart out is still in a downtrend.
I think it is retracing well and cut through the MAs.
Nonetheless i will give it a rest this week and come back on Monday.

Yes, sometime we have to look to D1 also..

I use H4 as signal chart and H1 as execution chart.
There was a time where I take long on GU (H4 and H1 confirm, but I did not check D1), but after few hours I check on D1, there's now way on D1 my TP will hit, since the trend on D1 is down.
So I close with a little bit loss.
