Hi michisuperfr, I don't know the exact difference but for me the difference is that DAX CASH INDEX (CFD or similar I suppose) don't have 4 different expiration during the year. Eurex FDAX future has march, june, september and december (generally 3rd friday).
The other main difference for me is that my broker charge an extra cost for CFD DAX INDEX while I don't pay anything for the future (only a small commission when I buy or sell) excluded daily settlement when you trade overnight , but I trade most intraday.
