Disliked{quote} Which Broker do you use and what is their spread for Gold?Ignored
Disliked{quote} That was very informative i'd been trying to tweak the 1st parameter and found it only accepts 0 or 1 now I know why. It's a real priceless filter because it ............... #1 does not repaint color on any CLOSED BAR #2 may lag the MACD and Stoch crosses by 1 or 2 bars but it keeps me from entering alittle too early befor the move has really heated up. You can play around with the settings here's mine for Renko 5, 8 & 10Ignored
Disliked{quote} Pepperstone, Edge account. They have around 1.2 pips spread which is pretty good. Plus no commission on Gold.Ignored
DislikedGuys. Please give a template and indicators. The computer is dead and everything was erased. Search takes a long time. Thank you in advance.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Little mix-up there, the Length is 2 and another BE, I think I have about had it with moving to BE. {image}Ignored
DislikedWhat each variable means? Any explanation on them? I probably wait 10-15 pips to move to BE. Those were pretty good entries. Do you use same settings for DAX? {quote}Ignored
Disliked{quote} That Absolute Strength Meter seems to give a signal on every second same colored renko brick.Ignored
DislikedI did not take a live trade today as i was just missing my entries by one or 2 bricks so I decided to just observe the market and my set-ups. I noticed to my dismay that although the MACD nrp was not repainting direction , it was repainting crossing and color, so I had to remove the colors and signal MA so I would only rely on MACD for direction and the Stoch crossing for trigger. I found the Stoch cross indie to be useful for this but problem is same settings give different results between live and demo accounts {image} {image} {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Good observation, price has a habit of fooling all indicators, we only need them to confirm our bias or filter out wrong signals, the best filters will probably get you into trades late, shaving out valuable points in the process of keeping you out of wrong signals. Price Action Analysis is king if you can master it you probably wont need indicators.Ignored
Disliked{quote} The NRP MACD does not reapint after the renko brick forms. It paints itself as long as the brick forms.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm thinking it's time I had more confidence in my divergence set-ups and squeeze out more pips than wait for the absolute strength hist confirmation. It is looking to me that once I'm sure of the divergence all I need to do is wait for the stoch crossing no need for the absolute strength histo (when it's divergence). I think it's robing me of 5 pips. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Indeed it does. The Stochastic turns down on the first renko color change if it's above 90 / below 10, below / above it, it will turn on the second. Just a phenomenon I observed.Ignored
