When we are comfortable with something, we tend to find justifications for it.
Think of a tree, picture one in your mind. Now repeat "tree" in your mind over and over again, after a while you realize that "tree" as a sound/word becomes disconnected from "tree" the mental image picture.
Do the same with "forex trading" as it is manifested in your life.

I think that you should only trade forex if you have a main job beside it this way you never feel "broke" and can invest between time and the other without really feeling that your life is on a threat.

Most successful traders went through the hardship, the difference is "they learned from it". I just traded my 10 years hard earned money and lost everything. I am doing my fair share improving and testing my strategy on a mini account. I noticed that, I am now measuring the success of a trade by following the process rather than how much money I made on a trade. I know I am in the right direction.

Dude, what you describe happened to almost any trader I can think of. Your problem tough is that you're turning this stuff into some tragedy. Take a break, stop thinking about it, show yourself that you can make it in other areas in your life, enjoy whatever you achieve, and come back to the trading desk if you still got the virus of being smart enough to rip people off. Being broke means that you got ripped off. And I guess you did it to yourself. Now's the best time to undoing all the harm, give yourself a break and think of a niche you might fit in. Best traders I know of, with the exception of some Ivy League mfkers, are the kind I can bet if left penniless at a crossroad will get it right every time, every damn time, without complaining about busing a table, or whatever professional trade they would be into. It's your time. You tried it, you failed. Now's the time to really think about it instead of becoming a serial poster on FF (where nobody really gives a damn about it). Bests!
