hi guys i have to say something i understand this system very good now and the crazy thing is i see the trading plan in my head without writing it down i dont know how that happen , i just see it and it works amazing thanks

I think Brath is right... you can watch D1 see what is happening in there.. then H2 see what is happening in there... Make your conclusions with the D1... and then H1 for see what is happening in there... Make ur conclusions with 3 timecharts. And then in ur mind you can have your notes where u are going to entry.

But if write it... can be better because you focus only in what u write.... And if u do that with ur Mind.. sometimes ur Mind/Emotions can kill you.

Hey Dana,
Forex Newbie here (futures trading for years though), recently joined the forum and found this thread and seems like I hit gold. I haven't studied the whole thing (which I will this weekend) and ignore me if someone has asked this before but could you please direct me to where I can understand the idea of linear regression and creation of data bases better as I feel like that would help me form a better understanding of the markets than the texts out there now.
I understand divine inspiration for your system but was there any text you used that helped you understand the noise and code the indicators.
Also, I'm curious, how was this version different from the Ninjatrader and the original Accucharts version?
Course feel free to ignore any question you don't wanna answer but I have a resistance to ever trading a system I cannot atleast understand in it's broad strokes. (the specifics can stay proprietary)

Hi Dana,
This weekend i read and reread your lesson to really grab them. I need clarification, at that statement above you wrote "Lime Green dash-dot line for the low". Do you mean that the color is LightSkyBlue Dash Line for the low?
Because previously, you described in page 2 like this..

Studying this but will have a lot of questions. Does anyone know if there's a way to sort of rewind the data and then move from a point going forward to reveal one bar at a time WITHOUT having any future candles on the chart yet. That's because future candles have changed the levels of some on the indicators and I'm trying to see things as they actually appear for study purposes. Like green and gold divergence. I watched it Friday as it continued to follow up instead of reversing...I think, so that's what I'm not clear on yet. Going to keep re-reading the post but the same questions keep coming up in my head and being able to see it as it unfolded over the PAST would be great. Thanks!

@Repoman:
maybe using Strategytester from MT4. There you can spacify the time range to test. Then you can load the templates. But you also have to load one EA which will be tested as dummy. And you can run it step by step and seeing what happens and how the candels are build.

Thanks, I was Thinking that but thought it only ran through the time period you select very quickly to give you the end result of an EA. I didn't think you can do a step-by-step viewing of the chart. Hopefully I'm incorrect. I'll did deeper to find out.

yes you can. You have to check the "visual mode" box on. Then on the slider you can set the speed of the test.

I have just started the thread and am currently on page sixteen and trying to catch up I took a screen shot of my Mt4 platform and annotated it can someone please look at it to make sure I am reading the various lines as their proper or correct names.

Hi there, just a quick question if I may ...

This seems to be an exception to the rule:

This post I will be talking about long term trading in using the DB/SAR:

The screen shot below is showing the 2 hour chart. On the top left you have a White Arrow which represents the DB/SAR attachment. This is a ROMAR downtrend. The first attachment is with the DB and when it did attached; it did so without the SAR Thistle price tag (DB Arrow). It went up in a retrace of the trend and reattached again without the Thistle price tag. The SAR did not attached until at the bottom with the Thistle price tag (White Arrow) and the DB did not attached with the SAR.

On this next screen shot starting at the top and proceeding from the previous screen shot you have the SAR reattached to the top of the second candle. The SAR again attached in trend without the DB and retraces on the next candle. The DB and SAR did not attached together until the trend had ended with the Lime Green Arrow.

This Traders; is LONG TERM TRADING with the DB/SAR with the SAR set in stone. They are not used for consolidation in this perspective (scenario). In consolidation they ARE used for verification of a trend in swings for short term trends. Just remember that the SAR has the Thistle Price Tag and the DB has no price tag.

Same like rcbarlow you are correct... but please read all the thread... in there are picture with ur answer about the names in the chart. And you are going to have a lot of questions but in there are the answers. And Btw we are trading EURJPY only. Goodluck and Welcome to Paradox System.
