Thanks Voelhok I did that and it does look better. MT4 is a new platform for me so just getting used to it.

I entered for a long term short when the red arrow appeared then the white and purple crossing smooth on 1H. I entered at 123.810 as I had just come back from a shopping trip and was slightly later than than I wished. I decided to go for a longer term trade as this might suit my abilities in a better way. I'm now looking for the bottom and I'm gratefully learning much.

Daily chart: EMA is below ROMAR - DOWNTREND
ROMAR Resistance
PARABOLIC Resistance
EMA Resistance
NOTES: Market closed very near low of the day. Purple is now at white for possible slider or cross & in the moment is support for market.

2H chart: EMA is below ROMAR - DOWNTREND
Price opened at 123.29
ROMAR Resistance
PARABOLIC Resistance
EMA Resistance

DB down at 123.09
SAR down at 123.09 (hidden behind DB)

NOTES: 4 Horseman are in swing down. Smooth still needs to cross EMA for full downswin

1H chart: EMA is below ROMAR - DOWNTREND
ROMAR Resistance
PARABOLIC Resistance
EMA Resistance

NOTES: Eur/Jpy in downtrend all 3 charts. 4 horseman downswing with white at purple. In the moment smooth is support with ema & romar resistance.


Projected Entry: I will enter short trade on 2 hr chart when market touches purple.

I think you are right. Actually I'm looking for a short term consolidation because of white heading for purple on 1H, not clean cross though. It might just be a slide and therefore a continuation of the downtrend. 2H is clearly downtrend. The daily is in a uptrend consolidation with the crossing of EMA/PURPLE + white and smooth riding underneath purple.

I have a question for Dove concerning the role of ROMAR in this particular circumstance :

Is the 1H ROMAR resistance for the ups, and the 2H ROMAR support for the downs?

Well right now, we have Full DownTrend Again. H1 purple is touching White. So we need to wait one more Hour for see if is going to cross or not. But right now we have a full downtrend.

All three charts show Roma above EMA. So all show a down trend. My Fibo on 2H and 1H are the same too, that is 0 at the top. Although I'm in a long term trend I will not be trading further. But for daily trading I would be looking for a short position only, off resistance. Go with the trend!

Something sounds a little off with your daily.... Daily is in downtrend, EMA is well above purple, white and purple are sliding, but smooth is still above them.

its okie. i am using a demo from forex.com for this paradox system, and oanda for trading purposes.
just focus on the paradox system, when it tells you to sell, u do it on the trading system(whoever it might be) and whatever price it is, provided the spread is about the same.

and in fact, during this setup, i noticed whenever forex.com reflects a change, i always have an additional second before it is reflected on oanda system.
so its like i have a second to decide whether to go ahead or not, i find it beneficial though
