DislikedHi tarwada, currently, I'm trading the Renko DAX semi-automaticly regarding the exits. it works well..so far, about 60 points this morning. The problem are the ranging periods with small losses. I find out that after several false signals most of the time the trending periods resume. Thus, I would like to have a possibility to increase the lot size after x false signals, meaning to take more than "One (x) Trade by x Color Changes". It would be nice if you are able to code such a feature... Happy tradind thanks in advance... jdva PS: please allow...Ignored

Disliked{quote} haha , i took the same losses and then i was a like (man , renko never went sideway before. trust the ea and let it run). i feel proud that i took that long trend by 1.0 lot. btw ,have you found any bug woth 2.5 ?. is everything good ? (btw add some Break Even to get rid of those losses)Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi all. Just a few observations really. I am testing this EA also on GBPJPY and EURUSD as forex is more my thing. I am finding, at present, that my wins are being overrun by the number of small losses that I am getting. I appreciate that this can happen during 'flat' periods. My SL is set to 20pips, and I am exiting on dot colour reversal. My average win is around 30 pips as the small pullbacks that exist during a trend, tend to generate a dot colour change. My thoughts were to increase the Renko box size to hopefully reduce the number of...Ignored
DislikedDear all, First I would like to thanks Tarwada for sharing his work. What are the settings you're using for this EA? I'm not successful while using 10 renko, 20 NLD, and exit on reversal. Eulbaerbaum, NLD changed to 55 will cut of most of the profit even from a quite good trade, that's what I noticed. Correct me if I'm wrong. Please share your settings and results. Do you find exiting on reversal better then SL/TP with trailing on? I failed with exiting on reversal, now I'll test using ST, TP, BE and TS. I hope this will improve the overall results....Ignored

Disliked{quote} Here are my settings from one back test... im testing only the Ger30 because its my main trading chart. This is the result with following settings: Ger30 Renko 10 PIps/Bar Time is from 1. Jan to 3. March {image} and this is the result: {image} This settings with the nld lengh of 55 are still good too. with longer nld you cant get perfect entry and exit of a trend. But you can catch the longer trends with will bring the profit. But remember these are all backtest! My experience i have made, some trades get a wrong entry and exit at the renko...Ignored

DislikedI have been using a Non-Lag Indicator EA in conjunction with renko for a bit, before this thread at least. I have been finding success with it, however it has nothing to do with fine tuning the EA necessarily but making judgments on my side. I find that semi-automated systems work the best, meaning that factors such as when to trade, what pairs to trade, what direction to trade, etc, should be made by the human, but the actual execution is better off in the hands of a robot. The biggest downside to renko is that it takes many trades during ranging...Ignored
