Count the number of bars on your chart. If it is 40, then it is correct.

If you had read and paid attention to what has been posted, you would see that the ROMAR is above the EMA on all three charts, which means we are in a DOWNTREND. In a downtrend, you can only trade SHORT. If one of the charts goes out of sync (ROMAR below EMA) then we can trade both ways because we will be in consolidation. Also, we are trading the H2 chart, not the Daily.

The Romar and EMA do not determine trend from consolidation by themselves. You didn't answer his question either or understand it. Theone3000, You had all the MAs trending downward heavily. With an open at smooth like in the daily chart Dove was talking about, this puts us in a perfect spot to short provided we get entries on the 2h with 1h heading down. The space between the MAs was still wide, which means the downward momentum is still there and we have a high probability for price to continue down.

I have shared before, that i missed the early trains today begin at 17.00 EST

Just have a chance to check the computer again at 15.00 EST. Because I hadn't opened any position early today, I feel that I would not break the rules if I get into the trade. After making the trading plan, i decide to trade the moment as follow :

Open a short position, the reasons are :

  1. All Indicator confirm the full blown downtrend. The last confirmation is when H1 EMA crossed ROMAR
  2. At 15.00 EST, market opened above H2 Purple, and retrace a little bit to H2 Smooth. This indicate the correct area to go short (resistance area).

Frankly speaking, i am little bit too late opening this position. The reason is this, i wait for the market to retrace more above, but actually market take decision to go down directly. IMHO the lesson is : when in support/resistance area, dont be afraid to pull the trigger, when all indicator have confirmed the setup.

I am late for 10 pips down but after 20 pips, i move my stop to B/E, and close my VPS. Just check it right now, and find out the 40 pips profit.

See these 2 images, yes they are not E/J but I scan a few pairs for learning purposes. in Eur/USD price opened above the EMA and dropped down, with USD/JPY we have the open below the EMA but price does not return with the trend but falls. This was easy to see with USD/JPY as 1h chart had turned over with mas pointing down. E/U on 1h had MAs beginning to point up but still held by resistance (EMA) even tho at the time of the entry purple had crossed ema up. Just wondering if anyone has some concrete rules on taking these trades, I would have held off on EU because 1H purple crossed ema up; also 1h DB and SAR were at top; but that was a good short.

EDIT: removed images because of 1 indicator that was added. I do not use it, it was HMA slope which I have been checking because it mimics the purple/white cross incase our indicators do not work someday.

I don`t know everything, but this much I can say.

1) This thread will only reply on EJ

2) With trend: Resistance/support and consistency between 1H and 2H is your entry. Also very important White vs purple.

3) In consolidation white vs purple is your entry.

Hope I have it correct.

I sold @ 123.21 with SL 40 and TP 20
Reason:
1) H1 hit SMOOTH
2) H2 hit FIBO contour line.

Please don't post charts with indicators other than the original one's given to us by Dana. It confuses people, messes up the data and is a slippery slope to chaos in the thread. Thanks.

For learn propuse u must trade with EUR JPY. You have an indicator that isnt Paradox and that changes everything in ur template and u are going to fail. Read the thread and and follow the rules
