I'm sorry for you bigijs... I think we need time to wrap our mind around this new (and awesome!) concepts of trading... I also sometimes confused in my analyses and have to re-read the rules again. But I think we have enough time to do so... we should only stay focused on this system... Today I'm happy to take my +40 Pips. Done for the day.

I'm still learning too so please know that I'm commenting based on my understanding. The way I understand it though is that the MAIN trend is down with EMA below ROMAR. Dove mentioned in his early posts trending in a "swing". I believe this is different than the main trend. Base on what I read (below) it seems like the main trend can consolidate and the H1 can consolidate with the H2. 80% of the market is consolidation and we just experienced over the past days a situation where all 3 charts were trending down. Now things seem to have changed and the swings up is the main trend consolidating. Will the trend change? I don't know but we'll see. REMEMBER, THIS IS MY UNDERSTANDING AT THIS POINT AND I'M STILL LEARNING so please, If anyone disagrees, please comment so we can all learn together.

When one of the 3 charts is out of sync with ROMAR the market is in consolidation.

The 2 hour chart ROMAR is the true source for trading the trend.
When the 1 hour ROMAR is running through the center of the market you are pretty much in consolidation with the 2 hour trend.

A friendly hallo to everyone.

Also a forex student and recently subscribed to the thread.

Just some food for thought. Currently with the open of the new 2h candle the open is above ROMAR 1h but below 2h ROMAR. Possible target?

Hi,

As far i can see on H1 and H2 EMA had crossed Purple for up move
EMA is your 2nd trend.
So to me we are in consolidation, but the 2nd trend is up. 4 horsemen on H2 are in line for upmove.
At this moment it looks like a slider is happening on H1. (EMA slides below purple).
To me market will go up and I think the 2Hr Romar will be the target.

But maybe i'm totally wrong. If so please let me know!

I somewhat agree but will say that lloking at the H2 ROMAR for anything other that trend info at this point, is looking way into the future...like 100 PIPs into the future...and not in the moment. In the moment based on your charts, the moment 2 hours ago on H1, opening above EMA with H2 clearly moving up, would have been a good in-the-moment trade. I would have seen that if I had written a plan this morning but I've been busy and just checking every now and then. That's only my impression as a newbie.

My Plan for today;

DAILY CHART – DATE: 25.02.2016
ROMAR: Resistance
EMA: Resistance
Parabolic: Resistance

NOTES: Daily is in a full down trend

2 HOUR CHART:
Opening: 123.520
ROMAR: Resistance
EMA: Support
Parabolic: Support

NOTES: 2H is currently in consolidation with Romar as resistance and the 4 horsemen turned up. Purple and Whit are very close together in slider.

1 HOUR CHART:

ROMAR: Resistance
EMA: Support
Parabolic: Support

Notes: Purple/White have crossed, turning the 4 horsemen to up trend.

Entry: Wait for a retrace of 1H to Purple for an entry going long.

What do you guys think? Comments and Analysis welcome.

So the long entry of my plan ultimately worked, buying at support on the H2 once purple had crossed EMA, with a bar open at support (EMA). Unfortunately I was sleeping, but nice to see the plan work out.

I think I understand what you mean (english is not my native language), so I hope my answer makes sense.

I'm not only looking at the trend, but also look at the other indicators. Trying to see the whole (big) picture
Still learning myself this system.
Now and then I get a light bulb moment, and some aspects become more clear.
But also facing difficulties like old habits. (working on it but they pop up now and then), patience, and greed (overtrading). I must say it's getting better.

The last days were good education days for me. Especially some notes from Dana, about trading in the moment were very usefull.

To be short, I'm just like the most of you learning The Paradox System

Yes...I'm struggling with old habits as well. When I look at trades gone bad, it's always an old habit surfacing. Patience and discipline are the things I'm working on as I study.

Done 40 pips! Entered long at 125.534 on opening candle at Ema support on 2H!
I am really grateful to Dove for the gift he's giving us, but I know that I have to keep studying to fully understand it.

Most of the problems is not recognizing the Fibo. You had the 61.8 as a barrier and when it was hit - a retrace back to EMA; and then heading back to the 61.8. You are in a consolidated uptrend with ROMAR as the trend. By trading in the moment you check the bar from top to bottom including the bars on the MACD for lower/low or higher/high. You have to see the whole picture on the bar before trading. You have EMA and Parabolic's in the trend and it is up heading for ROMAR but you have know where the retrace is going to happen. And the Fibo gives you the reference for those retraces. So keep in mind that the Fibo is also target areas.

Dove, I am assuming there are multiple ways of entering, not just one. Sure, it can be generalized as buy at support and sell at resistance, but I believe that my original assumption - that there were exact defined entries that everyone would see and everyone would use, all our trades would be identical - is not true, and entries will depend on the trader? Or are we still all learning and ultimately will all realize that there is really only one logical entry per every swing and will all end up taking that one?

Not time for the trade. Not in the moment ie the close of the 2h bar.

I noticed the fibo on the 1h chart flipped and the price went past the 61.8 level on the 2h chart.

1h and 2h currently both in uptrend (Daily down).

If 2h close above purple and 1h&2h still in uptrend, is the 2h ROMAR a good target? Maybe not the target but direction for a trade?

Any ones thoughts much appreciated.

That is where you are wrong. All the Basic entries are the same - you just have to recognize them. And that is with Purple/White and Smooth. Then there are the variables for entries in which I have been teaching everyone.

Thank you for the response - I just get confused when I see people doing things I didn't see, and by no means do I see everything, but its hard to know sometimes if what is being done is correct or not.

Some break the rules and that is the way of life. Just stay with the basics and work with the variables and eventually it will all come together. But trading in the moment is the important part - not what other's are saying. That is when intimidation takes over.
