Indeed it does. What's interesting is that with the bad Auusie data last week, bad data this week, and the one Australian gentleman saying he'd be comfortable with Aussie near .6500...the only thing Aussie does is have a short term selloff with no follow through and typically a rally. These are the little nuances of the market to help guide you in the direction of highest probabilities of winning trades.

don't you just love the aud it does what it wants to do and once you learnt it by watching :nerd: all traders on PA,s forum will make money

down to level, my personal opinion is that longs are not wise yet. But things can change within a few hours. bearish for now.

previous week open was 0.71010 ish.
monthly: 0.72814 ish
priced pushed back in between, funny pa imo.

Price Action can do funny things at times. But it always gives you subtle hints to be profitable too.

1) My number one rule is to trade with the trend, if give you the highest odds of a winning trade. You can make money counter trend trading too, but statistically you make more trading with the trend. We have been trending up on Aussie for 6 weeks now.

2) Yesterday during US session, Last night during Asian session, and this morning during London session Aussie has been supported around the .7150 level and keeps bouncing off the 1hr 200ma. That's you're lowest risk entry area.

3) Earlier in the week both euro and pound had been selling off like crazy against the USD, but Aussie initially rallied and never dropped as far as they did hinting that there weren't many sellers.

4) The hardest part about trading will be your own discipline on being patient for price to come back to an area for you to enter with lower risk, patience not to jump into trades late if you miss an entry, not to over leverage yourself, and manage you trade$account properly.


One little disclaimer, I'm a day trader looking(not a scalper, swing trader, or position trader)for 30-50 pip winning trades within AUD's normal ADR.

traders need to make clear distinction between anlyzing and trading.
analysis: we teach it and you can learn it
trading: we don't teach it and you can't learn it, you need to expose yourself.

thats why floor traders do it better, they can imitate traders, here you only chance is to imitate "analysts"
trading is: feelings, sayings, behaviour and a lot more you can't teach people. learn to take some some negative pips thats the only way to make progress imo.

Yep, I take my share of losses. The key is to keep them small and manageable.

Watch the 1hr candle, could possibly get a double top around .7210. If not, we may go up to retest Monday's highs.

Both Euro and Pound are down while Aussie is up again. Still lots of buyers in the market for Aussie despite bad AUD data and good USD data.

Keep an eye on this current 1hr candle, if it closes around .7190 we'll have an Evening Star pattern and double top from the .7210 area.

Good evening PA. I'm in with a short from .7207 just to get me back into the Aussie. I had computer problems last night (was away from home and couldn't get charts up on lap top and was caught up in a rapidly deteriorating short on USD/CAD. Luckily for me my trade turned with 3 pips to spare and when I got home tonight I found it had turned my way. That star, if it happens, probably won't give you enough confluence to short for 30?

a good example on the difference between doing analysis and trading. The double top wiped me out back then even though my cycle analysis turns out to be right now.
