2 years ago I stepped away from Forex and withdrew my money from the account. For some reason .01 was left in the account. The account continued to stay open. So I decided to go with ONADA. Add more $$$ to the account was painless and now I am back in business. Are they the best I do not know but they work for me.

agree. they are NOT the best; but reasonable. Most traders have Oanda widening spreads during NFP and few other News Releases and also just before an hour before market close for that week.

I see that they have good trading practice and I have my money with them also.

Instead of everyone looking for the "best" broker they should be looking for the best broker for me. Like you pointed out they are not good for trading news releases. That is not a problem for me but if you trade news releases they are not the best for you.

If I become successful at trading I may move to another broker that offers more things to trade but for now they fit me.

Just keep 5 to 7 brokers and keep trading those accounts every other day. Don't trade all the accounts at the same time with same instrument you will be nailed... lol

Can you guys tell me the difference between PFG BEST AND OANDA?, I have 11k stolen from me by USA laws, 44 millions dollars of forex costumer stole.I have bad fell about oanda.

That is always there. when the brokers involved in bad practices and officials do not find that, they will eventually go bankrupt. If that is a big concern DO NOT TRADE or look for either CANADA broker or UK broker.

When you click the Send Money button, just remember that money is no longer yours... lol.

Anybody from Oanda care to explain what happened this morning to the ZAR/JPY pair?

Disclosure: I didn't have any losing positions due to whatever happened, I'm just curious.

hi oandarep,

I feel very sad that I can't open an account in asia pacific, I just write down "oanda Only" on the uploading document, but the CS call me I cannot write down "oanda only" on the document, they just let me write it down on the four corners. However, I am very afraid someone will take my confidential documents to do illegal things.

I am just wondering, I have already got a US Oanda account, I upload the document using the same method, write down Oanda only, It let me open the account without any problem, but now, I cannot open the account in asia pacific, I just want to protect my ID document.

Because US Oanda cannot use credit card to deposit money, and for asia pacific, they don't let me open account, I feel very very sad, is there any other way to solve the problem? Please help, thanks

Nowadays, Oanda (most most brokers) is very selective with their customers. With those information you provided when you first applied for a live account, they know exactly if you are a novice forex trader and if you have a lot of funds in the bank. If you are at least five years trading or if you have barely enough money to trade, then surely you application to open a live account would certainly be not approved.

Anyone experience any issue with FXtrade on Windows 10?

Recently I am not able to load the application at all, tried their FXtrade desktop application, loading it from browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome, doesn't work as well. Anyone able to share?
