At opening you had the 1 hour in consolidation with the White/Purple crossing and the 1 hour Smooth in a slider for the continuance of the downtrend. That left open the 2 hour Smooth for the entry on the next 2 hour candle.

Everything I am posting is on my Daily Trading Plan. I am really hoping you traders are beginning to realize the importance of a trading plan. Most of you are seeing things that are not even there is because you are not looking at the moment.

What is FEAR?

False Evidence Appearing Real

And what does that mean – it means a “Lie”. Fear is the greatest emotion in a human being. It destroys the convections of one’s own thinking. All it takes is someone to post, or say something against your convection; and within 30 seconds the seed that had been planted, will fully bloom. And then fear had set in and taken control of your emotions.

This is very true when you have multiple postings on a subject that no one really understands. You have those who think they know the answer and state a fact – which in reality is a lie. And then you have those who will post an answer with another question attached. Then there are those who have the answer but are afraid of their own conviction and say nothing.

Being in the background is a safe haven for those in fear. In reality it is a vicious circle of bouncing off one spectrum to the other. Fear comes in many variables: Afraid of losing something; afraid of being wrong; afraid of not having the right stuff to succeed; afraid of setting goals; but mostly – afraid of your own convictions.

The meaning of Conviction:

: a strong belief or opinion
: the feeling of being sure that you believe or say is true.

And the opinion of others could very well steal your convictions.

So my question is: What are you afraid of? The answer is a fear of stepping out of your comfort zone. Going beyond what you are already comfortable with and afraid of losing on something that you already know is true.

Understood, I had realized my mistake, but thank you for confirming.

Using this logic, in an uptrend, but with the 1HR in consolidation with White/Purple crossing, I believe the EMA on the 2HR would be the entry?

Now is getting all clearer. I put this scenario on my trading plan at Sidney opening last night but I didn't catch the trade because I was sleeping. Now I am waiting for a retrace to resistance again to pull the trigger. Maybe during London session...

So, I'll short when:
1) H1 hits (retraces back to) SMOOTH but without PURPLE crossing WHITE.
Or
I'll open long (less preferable) when:
1) H2 candle opens above EMA with WHITE crossing SMOOTH

Hi,

I just want to say that, for the first time, I am becoming very profitable with this school of thought (10 days without losses ). I am still in Demo and have a whole lot to learn... studying carries on as english is not my first language... (having studied statistics many years I find very interesting the use of Linear Regression... have a lot of curiosity about this...)

Congrats my friend!. Take 20 days more (if u still have without losses) jump to a mini account and trade with the minium lotsize in live account. (With money that u can afford to loss..). GoodLuck!

Just made 60 pips! Entry short on the first candle after London opening at Purple resistance on 1H. I'm done for today.

I sold @ 123.41 with SL 40 and TP 40.
Reason:
1) H1 hit SMOOTH
2) H2 hit PURPLE

So, that's a confluence.

The short entry should be in Smooth. Not Purple or White in H2. In a powerful trend the important lines is smooth ema and romar.
