EURNZD Daily is showing a very bearish case. I'll be watch the shared level for opportunities to short and compound the trade next week.

Personally I'm cagey on EURNZD weakness. W1 chart there is a 2 bar reversal and then its tested which price responds positively.

I don't think I would be entertaining any shorts until that previous high.

UHV zone H right at a 50% retrace. Sounds and looks like a great place to get in long. I love the higher TF trades. So much less time required.

Edit - I love too how 50% of that UHVZ is right at that old swing H to the left... Awesome!

It's been a while with being sick and overly busy at work but today I finally had time to open my charts. I saw a nice shared level after the LO close (L of LOVZ and L of YVZ) on the crude charts. A couple of hours later we took out the low and printed a pres78 2BR followed by a ND on the 15 min chart. I entered a short on a break of the low with a 20 tick SL. Currently locked in at 2:1 after hitting as low as 4:1.

I saw nothing I liked at all on the currencies today. Oil was moving fairly clean and we were hanging around the YVZL. As soon as LO closed with that shared level I knew what I wanted to see and was fortunate that it played out as I had hoped.

Good to see you are back and trading! Glad you're feeling better.
As Rinehart said we have missed your updates as of late. Ive found the last couple of weeks pretty poor in terms of basic VZA trades. Either Im missing something or its just been weird market conditions.
Would it be possible to tell us more about your trade manager EA and how we might be able to find something similar?
There are a bunch of them about on the web but they don't look as good as yours. I don't mind paying for one if its reliable but your advice would be most welcome.

It is a valid pres78 2BR, your question is more I assume about whether the location is valid. If I could get 1:1 before the L then yes I would take the trade as a scalp which could turn into a runner. We need to be aware that the L could well hold as support. Seeing that change of power at the 50% was a nice clue we were going to see continued weakness after having seen brief support at the ZH with no follow through.

I love how that UHVZ made a LL on your chart which filled / removed demand and also suckered in weak shorts who promptly got stopped out. Loads of liquidity generated on that bar.

Look too at the previous volume zone, shared level and we rejected from it's levels on the weak push above that current zone H.

Have you found any entries today?

Or was everything already oversold by the time you got to the market?

I hope its ok if I post non pres stuff, I don't want to step on any toes.

Euro has been rangey for so long it finally broke out. Cluster of previous days point of control show the line in the sand.

That's fantastic, I like how that test is in a rising market where each bar is making a HL.

Still having issues wrapping my head the zones. You fibbed the bar 2 hours previous to your entry. Basically during the trading day you fib high volume H1 and M30 bars in the current day?

I honestly haven't spent my fair share of time studying zones, seems over whelming. In KinsaleForex post you refer to a HV zone from 3 days ago and your entry is off current day zone. I guess as I am typing this out and trying to make sense of this, I'm thinking that you are constantly on the look out bars to fib in the same way that I am always looking back at the days PA.

​Please read post 1 for the basics of how I place the zones on my chart. My Oil cart for example the white zone was LO and was the highest volume 1hr zone today. The yellow zone is Friday's 1hr volume zone.
