EU M15 basic short entry setup, not moving much. I actively manage my ongoing trades and may pull the plug on this trade before it reaches SL but for now will wait a little longer.

I am reading another thread at the moment TMS M30. In that thread the daily open line is used as support/resistance. It looks like your EU trade is bouncing between the 200ema and DOL. Maybe it will break the DOL...

It is wise to be mindful of DOL. As you go further into that other thread you will notice that senior traders at times trade into DOL and price breaks though it because strong momentum will blast through level(s). In my trading journey I have realized that there aren't any absolutes in trading only probabilities and that is why trading is such a difficult profession to master.

EU M15 short trade update: As price got near DOL, I moved my SL to BE+ and since we are in the slow part of the day and price wasn't moving much, I closed my trade.

more important advice:

- Dont force trades, there will be many..just wait.
- Move you stoploss to breakeven at the first chance you get, this will make a huge difference in results.
- Dont get anxious if you get taken out of your break-even trade, there are many trades all the time.

Took this short trade on Gold. Missed my TP by 1 pip + spread. PA reversed and took my stop out at BE. The spread on gold is a little too high with my broker, 4.5 pips.

A few trades in progress, as LE1 had mentioned Pre-London Open trades are riskier and not recommended for newbies to take.

EJ short trade closed, no reason to be greedy right at London Open (LO). At times (not always) at a major market open we may experience a shakeout.

EU trade hit SL. I don't win 100% of my trades. Even yesterday I had a couple of losses trading other TFs, I have decided to only post my M15 trades on this thread from now on. I trade M5, M15 plus multiple position trading (stacking) on M30/M15 and my average so far has been a win rate of 70%.

I have posted my equity curve many times this year and may continue to do in the future. Remember that the market is the boss.

EA M15 multiple position short trade. It is not some senseless adding to losing positions. The decision to split up trade entries is made way before the first entry and the trade plan is executed with extreme prejudice. The yellow zone was my short position building area of interest.

I hope pips29 starts posting here again so I can go back to my trading cave.

Food for thought: We never know when frequent posters stop posting their trades for good here. For learning advanced setups, if you have already mastered the basic setup ,it is best to pick 4-6 pairs and pour over your charts and look for similar trade setups from the beginning of this year up to now and see how often similar trade setups worked and failed and gather some stats/data. For now forget about position building trading. Try to find the reason(s) why some setups failed! Make/print a list of high probability setups/charts and put it next to your trading station. If you are absolutely new then only look/study the basic setup first on only a few pairs.

At first LE1 shared a simple trading method with strict rules and as time went on he started to take the training wheels off one by one.

wasn't trading much the past week except on Friday where I took 4 entries on 4 different pairs...3 are still ongoing with green pips and this was just closed manually...beginning today, I will be strict on my entries
