GBPJPY PVSRA Long Trade Open/Close:
-10.3 pips average
Summary of trade:
-- Strong activity below 750 line at FO.
-- Strong momentum going into LO
-- Entered on pullback then new upward movement
Learnings:
-- Should have posted the 15 min chart not the 5 min chart
-- MUST be more patient. Should have waited for more significant pullback
-- Might have considered entering a second position long after strong pullback from Trend.
-- Entry candle actually had stopping volume.

I used pullback on 5 minute chart for entry, but I used 15 min charts for analysis. Experience based opinions on that?

I would like to introduce myself. Over the last 10 years I have studied the Forex Market, trading from time to time. At the beginning of this year I retired from the Food Store Industry with over 39 years of service. My long time desire has been to trade currencies as part of my retirement life. Reading the PVSRA thread has opened my eyes to the role of Market Makers. It is amazing how the drive market moves, while its also clear they can move the market wherever that like at any time. MM leave tracks however, PVSRA. I have decided that PVSRA will...

Dear John,

First I would like to give you some general advice:
1. When you start trading seriously, you must watch charts a bit longer than just one glance at the pair.. so you should limit the number of pairs to 2 max, maybe even one. You traded four on Friday, it is almost impossible to follow 4 pairs and know their movement very good, since the best is if you can watch H1, M15 ( for entering) and M5 for clearer view what is happening at important S/R levels.
2. If you were not watching the pair the whole week ( especially GJ) then don't enter so early at FO or LO becouse MMs very often pump or dump prices at FO and/or LO just to reverse to the right side move later (to sucker wrong siders or SH right siders entered too early). Being Friday it can happen that the prices just range...so you have to determine good momentum before you enter
3. Try to enter on high activity candle coming out of trend, not 50 pips away from it ( it can turn out good, but SL placement is very far away and RR is not good)
If you do enter away from trend , then save a bullet to add on retrace or place your SL very tight- below current 5 min candle and if hit wait for re-entering on possible retrace back to trend when PA is comming out of it again)
4. Just on GJ I noticed that PA was retracing back to H1 trend from below it ( not yet confirmed bullish reversal) so this shows you were not paying attention to H1 chart. If nothing else, H1 50 EMA is at least S/R and even if PA Will later continue up, there might be some bounce back off of it .

For now, this is enough changes for you...so try this way and post some charts again, with AP for easier reviewing and also that the newbies can learn something from your charts, too.

I have read once all the posts and the pdf.. Today the volume has gotten up under the whole number and when the price has gone down has also gone down the volume..Then the concentration of volume is under the whole number! you can also see it clearly on m1..
