Thx for all that....funny but it did not feel aggressive at the time....I was crapping during the DD hoping the 61.8 and divergence held the fort. When the double top held and the divergence looked strong it was a simple choice to add to the position. Now if that same trade was in the form of a scalp on a 3 Renco there is little time to think[much less draw pretty fib levels] and yes it could be described as aggressive . I told dee a while back that I would try to grow up and do the odd trade on a HTF chart.
Hope I am not boring anyone here but i think it helps when posting a good trade to talk about the emotion of it all good or bad.

I'm checking out the 7,10,5 MACD my HTF says uptrend but MACD says sell what will price do?

I see that it's safer to go with the HD and bet more (more profitable) and bet smaller on the RD much more opportunities to come today.

I use the R3 when the cycles are in the 20-30 pip range and monitor the small scalps on the ren1.....disclaimer...i am not advising this. If you have a tendency to second guess yourself it can be tricky

Looks tempting just to take the HD's

I don't need too much just 50 pips per trading day I'm sure I've come to the right place.

That's what I'm pretty much doing with DAX. It works like a charm as long as there is decent momentum. As soon as things slow down, you are toasted.

Did anybody try range bars instead of renko? I am looking at it at the moment, it might be my weary eyes as I was sitting in front of my screen all day, but the cycles are easier to identify.

Comparison of Renko v Range. There is a lot of difference between a 10 pip Renko (1st chart) and a 10 pip Range (2nd chart) in fact I would say that the 10 Range Chart looks more like the 5 pip Renko (3rd chart). look at the indicator differences between the first 2 charts, the Range chart is not showing the whole session, but the Renko chart is, Bars to the right of the red vertical line. This is because of the way the Bars are formed. A range bar forms every 10 pips of movement either up or down so more bars are shown.
