CADJ is clearly down. Triggered on the D1 supply level nested within the weekly supply zone and price dropped as per realignment rule. Price creacted a nice 4hr supply level but fell short of my entry. Shorts is also the way. All thanks to Alfonso.

i apologise in advance for asking this if not allowed to ask i do not mean to be rude or break any rules

but i was wondering is there any chat or Skype group for supply demand traders

.. is there one part of the paid areas on set and forget.com

Just to update the GBPAUD Long

For those who missed the initial long entry, another 4hr Drop-base-rally DZ has formed and is being approached by price (half way to entry).
Another opportunity for entry may present itself soon.

Dear Alfonso,
I have studied the first post in this forum and several of your videos. I am not sure I understand the concept of levels removing opposing levels. I do understand how areas of supply or demand forms as a result of DBR, RBD, CP, broken trendlines and new highs or lows. But, I see in several videos you refer to f.x. a level of supply which are taking out an opposing level of demand. I try to explain my question on a screenshot. Also, see screenshot from one of Alfonso's videos where he says that a supply area removes a demand area. I am grateful if you or someone in the forum can explain :-) Thanks.

But basically when an area is removed you have to look to see which areas the move came from and the area at the top is it.

When do we consider a zone to no longer be valid? When is it considered to be broken and needs to be removed from our charts?

  1. The zone is no longer valid when it's been taken out by as little as 1 pip
  2. We don't wait for a close above or below the zone in order to consider a zone as a violation
  3. We don't wait for a full OCHL candle above/below the zone

Thanks for clarification. Still, I wonder: in the screenshot from Alfonso's video I referred to in my original post, he says that it is the supply zone that "takes out" the demand zone. Is this just a way of saying that the supply zone causes the drop which finally violates the demand zone, and therefore one can say that "the supply zone takes out the demand zone"? Or is the supply zone not valid until the demand zone is violated, and therefore "takes out" the demand zone?

Thanks for your posts and trades but you are breaking the thread's rules by posting H1 charts. It's NOT allowed to posts charts lower than H4 since this thread is not an intraday thread. Could you please delete your post? You are allowed to post supply and demand trades as per the rules in this thread, you are neither following the rules, you are not drawing the zones as per the rules.

You are only allowed to post your trades if you follow the rules, sorry to sound so rude, but this thread is not just a thread where you post your trades, they must follow certain rules.

A supply zone will be valid if it takes out an opposing demand zone. If it doesn't take out an opposing imbalance, it won't be considered a valid supply, it will stay as "potential" until it's removed and only confirmation type of trades will be taken at that supply zone. Hope that helps.

Dear Alfonso, Thanks for your reply, but I am still confused. Sorry. I don't understand what it looks like when a supply zone takes out a demand zone. Let's say the demand zone is already formed as in the screenshot from your video I referred to. Then, price moves up and forms a fresh supply zone. Is the demand zone considered taken out by the fresh supply as soon as the fresh supply is formed, or is the is the demand zone considered taken out by the fresh supply when the drop-leg drops below the demand zone? Sorry for my ignorance but I am a little confused :-)

There are quite a few videos that cover that topic I would suggest that you watch them. Freshness is irrelevant, a zone is a zone, fresh, tested, used-up, that's irrelevant. You are confused because you've not read the posts or watched the videos to gain confidence and understanding the rules. It takes time.

Hello everyone

On the GBPAUD trade.

Please see my analysis posted last week. I have reposted the link above, with an updated 4hr chart below.

As mentioned yesterday that there was a new 4hr DBR DZ that had formed and was actionable, i thought I would show the trade now that I can attach my charts

The entry occurred today.

MN down, W1 down. D1 created a supply level nested withing a weekly supply zone which i was trggered. We are very close to a monthly demand zone so am waiting for my target to trigger.Thanks Alfonso.

Nice short on D1 supply nested within weekly supply zone. That was a great trade many took at www.set-and-forget.com it was planned a long time away, pity other Yen cross pairs didn't pullback to similar weekly supply imbalances.
