DislikedWhile a 50/50 coin toss is a terrible trading solution, it wouldn't be hard to make serious profits off it ... with proper money management, pending orders, & stoploss, a trader could put some serious money in his/her pockets. It all boils down to 50/50. Fifty percent change of winning and a fifty percent chance of losing. That's all trading is.
Losing is as easy as ... using the Martingale system. or dropping 50k at Vegas, Reno, or Atlantic City.Ignored

It does not matter how you attempt to money manage it.
You cannot money manage a loser into a winner.
To think that it is possible, probably wastes more time and money than any other aspect of beginner trading.Ignored

If you have a method of staying with a winning trade and bailing out of a losing trade- I agree.
But I've never seen a method that worked.
It may be possible, but in 30 years of trading, I've never seen it. They all give back the profits when the market changes. Again, it may be possible.
I've seen two successful systems, in my life, both depend on exploiting a common psychological trait of traders. In other words, both were successful because of the entrance.

The only time doing the opposite of something works is if you lose > 70% of the time with 1:1 risk:reward ratio. If you tried to do the opposite of that EA I posted, you would still lose money.Ignored
