Yeah, unfortunately I was going against you this morning, trading long from the bottom going after your stop. I caught the range higher, but dropped the majority of the position before the news.

You had the right idea, just missed the detail, but your yen trade keeps you positive overall
Be bullish on you.

this is one where you really don't know if its wrong unless you are in negative pips. Yes, your loss could have been smaller, but in reality, hard to close just up a few pips.
Be bullish on you.

We just went up and got all the stops on daily EU. should make for a good Friday. I'd stay on those lower time frames until after nfp. this might be the trigger for the next big move either way, hopefully it will give us something in about a month or so to trade on the weekly.
Be bullish on you.

I said I'd get interested with some moves, we had moves, but I'm not yet totally interested on higher time frames, but here are some ideas to use on lower time frames based on where we are in our higher time frames. Everyone used to ask me about things like this, and as many of you know its not something I live by, I like to trade the chart in front of me, but let's have some fun.

NU... 6660-6680...hmmm... below, look for a push down, retrace, action get short. Above this I have a sneaky suspicion it could turn on you at any minute. Tight TP1's and hope it starts rolling and takes you for the ride.
EU... no idea. But, if it goes up tomorrow, might be worth seeing if we can take a trip down on Friday. Only for the competent NFP trader.
AU.. another 100 pips up and it gets interesting.

Other alternative, There were large ranges today, so beware and take note if the day is a bit dead and don't get caught in chop.
Be bullish on you.

Hey Ek
Heading into NFP, I think almost all of your USD pairs have room to keep moving in the direction of a weak dollar. Check out the NU analysis and what it did today and compare it to the 1215 to 1200 level of EU going into tomorrow. A bit higher high to the left, but if price breaks during NFP, look for retrace and long. Or stay on the side and I'll see what we have on the weekly timeframe next week.
Be bullish on you.

New weekly thoughts posted above in the 1st post for week of the 8th. We got the continued dollar weakness on a spike and then strength which made for some decent shorts. Let me know if you got any. Had to go to the M5 to snag them but EU and AU did well.

Some bonus pairs I am watching this week on the daily. All of thesemight not play out this next week, might take into the following week. we'll see.
EUR/AUD long if we get some more up move and then a pullback.
EUR/GBP long with move up and retrace
EUR/NZD long - note, I am already long from 6616, but I think this might give another entry if it can get rolling up and then retrace.
Be bullish on you.

GU UPDATE

I just took 110 pips and moved to BE. My entry was 1.4510 last night and just exited when it hit 4400. I'll just ride this one out from here and see what happens. Let me know if anyone else rocked that one on any of the time frames.
Be bullish on you.

Well, I can't promise this weekly journal will be profitable, trying something new, but I will try to throw in some ideas that might help you. For example, you could have shorted GU yesterday on the M15 or today when it went right back to my entry and gave action and a retrace. You can mark the areas I mention on my daily notes and see if things make it there. I mentioned strength in in the eur/gbp, I am looking for retrace, but today during london open it put in a bottom and gave action after action and made a great long. Same thing eur/nzd. I mention wanting retraces on the daily, but each day if price is holding from the bottom and giving action, take it long, if it breaks down, maybe the retrace has started and see if you can ride along. Just some thoughts, but anyone reading let me know if its helping.

For example, when I got stopped today, I saw the action on the M15, got back in from 4500. Now, this isn't a weekly trade, I already took that, but I will treat this like a weekly on the tp2.
Be bullish on you.
