Pepperstone

Last year, it was downed for about 40 min due to DDos attack. At that time several brokers were attacked and downed including Pepperstone and Dukascopy... Except this, Pepperstone is pretty stable in my opinion.

Not sure if it's related. But my market order is delayed by 3 seconds. I think they do this to a profitable scalper on purpose. I'm just not sure. I'm on CTrader platform... I have a fast internet connection. It only started happening recently.

3 seconds, wow! That's no good. You should email support. I often ask them if they have started using the virtual dealer plug in on me.
Market orders are about 96ms for me.

Regarding the freeze, Pepperstone wrote that there was a problem with one of their servers last night, which has been resolved now. Nice to know it was not a problem my end.

Working with take profit horizontal lines that are coded in such a way that they will close orders, regardless of spread at that time. Tonight price touched and went through this take profit line, but did NOT close any trade, despite my connection being up 24/7.
This can only be explained by mass delay of trade execution....

Has never happened to me before. They changed something about their servers recently so i will be sure to watch this very closely from now on....

I just saw your post. That might explain why my TP did not got executed....

The indices prices were frozen for 20 minutes this morning on the live platform.

I hava a bad experience with them. Their Australia support team is OK. But when they push you to the local support(for example in China), it is disaster.
When I do online support, they ask you contact the account manager. When I contact the account manager, she nerver pick her mobile phone!

has anyone experienced a trade today where his stops were missed and ended in -pips on any JPY pair after BOJ decision?

i withdrawed my money with paypal although i funded with one card for arabic people they offer islamic account ,i believe they are the best broker ever and i am not commercial market company who told twee to make me commercial because people are wining and they dont them to win please if you want to trade just trade with pepperstone only they care the rest dont

Review:I have being trading Forex for almost 3 years with different Brokers, and it is weird because I really thought that Pepperstone was a good broker, till one day I open a trade without SL and after some minutes while still in negative position, the SL was created very close to the price. I was surprised because I did not have any EA running and my Expert Advisors button from MT4 was off, so it was impossible for me to have any robot changing my SL. I tried to change the SL manually and I also tried to delete the SL, but all my actions was overruled by another robot running on my account, since I knew the only MT4 platform that I had running was the one in front of me was impossible for me to have any mistake. So, I decided to contact the Pepperstone support chat and I explained to the guy my situation, and he told me that he was going to check, and after a minute I had control over my trade SL. I was shocked to see that this Broker was using some Trailing Stop on negative positions to make you lose money. After this day I never traded again with Pepperstone. For me it was a good Broker until this fact happened to me.

Review:Not recommended. This is my first month trading with them and they already have problem. They close my hedge position for GJ, both buy and sell with the same lot size. Yes, there shouldn't be any reason to do stop out, since there is no margin requirements to trade, but then the trade still get closed. Still waiting to get my deposit back.

does anybody else have problems using trade copier FXBlue with pepperstone mt4 plattform. since they have added suffixes to the symbols the copier does not work.
anybody have a solution?
