So I'm still in this trade. But looks like the signal flopped on me again, but now with vengeance. I'll hold and see what happens tomorrow as price seems to consolidate (and GBPJPY is making a corrective rally). The sell signal was clean, so I'll stick to the short Monthly bias. But I'll exit if risk is too much (break even from last week's profit). Here's the current signal:

So the real question is what do you do when you get whipsaw signals? Do you exit, reverse, or stop and wait til next day? Maybe view the charts and look for trending state before taking signals. Anyways, still early, but getting good data on how this indicator works. Seems like the weekly, daily, H4, and H1 signal can flop within hours.

I guess patience pays. The market turned in my favor with even bigger vengeance. What we saw as bullish signal before was C5 hitting resistance against all pairs. I think we can use the indicator to complement trading the C5, but we have to be cognizant of the support/resistance levels. Since we have the Monthly sell support, we must take profit early if buying (contra-trend trade) or wait until the trend resumes if sell.

Stats:
1st Trade: Profit
2nd Trade: Profit
3rd Trade: Loss
4th Trade: Profit
Total gain after 2 trading days: 10%

Had I flipped again, I would have taken a second loss. But according to the actual rules, sell signal was stronger so I stuck with it. Being on the right side of the trend pays. But I am still curious as the Weekly and Daily can change as fast as the H4 and H1.

Thanks Phemmy! I haven't been posting since I didn't want to spam your journal .

But I am making progress. Current account is at 12% (Not much profit in the US session). I've been watching it closely along with charts to see how it reacts. You can almost just watch GBPJPY to identify good areas for entry and wait for the signal or good levels for TP. But I also have a 5% close all positions TP set.

I'm still in the previous trade. I had TP set to +5%. Asian session went to about 4.8% before reversing into bullish day yesterday. So now still waiting. Current total P/L is at 0% so in about -12% DD. Still have Monthly sell support so just waiting. Lesson is to not be greedy. A more appropriate TP would be 1-3%. Always better to take profit and reset. Depending on how the week goes, may cut losses. But right now, just riding the profits gained previously.

Brother, I'm with you on THIS one Phemmy! Came close to closing it a few times because of the lack of volatility but, it's still going! I opened it a bit before you did but, our overall outcome is roughly the same. One thing that I am doing different than you appear to be doing is using larger lots for pairs that have a lower ATR. My account is small but, I was able to manage .05 for NZDUSD, .04 for EURJPY, .03 for AUDJPY and GBPUSD and .02 for GBPJPY.

I know that it is the first of the month, first of the week AND the first trading day so, I would imagine that the BTS buy signal is not well established or as strong as we would like to see it. I am happy to let these trades go into the next trading day... all positive swaps!

The script cannot place another trades once the trades it places are on.

The exit is determined by you. Take as much as u want.

Phemmy? Why are you holding on to these trades? I know that it is only a demo account but, if you are creating a journal of your trading method, why would you hold on to trades that are going to destroy your account?

I already test your basket. And it nice pips though. Do you trade only with daily, H4, and H1? Or you trade until m,w,d,h4,h1 all up or vice versa? Your trade explorer seems profitable
