Here are a couple charts showing how I trade and what I look for. It's based on Price Action, Support/Resistance, Candlestick/Chart Patterns. Please excuse the drawings on the charts...I'm not an artist!

Looks like price is trapped between the 50 and 200 ema's on the 1hr chart...pretty much a no trade zone at the moment.

Current price action on A/U leads me to believe we are setting up for another possible long...I have nothing to get me in long at the moment, just looks like a possible retest of yesterday's .6830-50 support area. Just waiting on some more price action signals...

I hope you didn't go long when you wrote this a while ago. But it finally looks like we have some price action that is saying to go long. 1hr chart has RailRoad tracks a couple bars ago after the 100pip selloff. And it appears we have a triple bottom around .6830. Entry around .6850 should be good for about 30pips if not a little more. Price hasn't been able to stay above .6900 for a few days, so be careful on that. US traders may or may not want to retest today's lows again(or use news as an excuse to try it).

If you missed the first buy opportunity early this morning...this could be your second chance around .6850 for a smaller 20, maybe 30pip profit.

i was talking about green light for shorts at that time (i was short), after my post it dropped 70 pips. sorry for the confusion

initially was thinking if price breaks 6930 the next target is 7000. this may be still valid. gotta be careful with shorts.

Keeping the losses small and the gains decent...nice work. I don't recommend it for new traders, but experienced ones with discipline, patience, and good trade/money management you can definitely trade both ways(with trend/counter trend). Keep up the good work.

thanks, buddy. i do not know if you have any open positions, but i went long from current levels - 6930 - it is against many technical rules - buying at top, huge bearish wicks etc. but will take the risk and targeting 6990

I do have a couple shorts open from .6941 and .6922 that I'm about to close. Looks like price is stalling here are .6890 area. Hope you kept your loss small. Just a personal rule for me, I don't buy highs or sell lows.

got my target of 50pips and 30pips on those two trades. Looks like price finally broke down below .6890. Ideal long position area is the same area we've seen support this week around .6830-50. We need some price action/chart pattern for confirmation.

yes, it was risky trade so kept the positions small and once saw the signs of typical downtrend hedged them with audjpy shorts and covered the loss. no harm done. my short target still remain 7000. not sure if it is going to touch 6830 soon. lets see what will happen
