If the current cycle holds then I would look to stay in the trade for about 4 hours and I would possibly choose 167.70 to 168 as my exits point

Ok I see you are going with the trend on your system and looking to get small points, I think I read about a bloke that wanted 10 pips from a trade and used 90 pip stop loss, in three years he never had a losing trade. However, you can improve your strategy with a little bit of thinking, and the application of cycles and support and resistance. This will cut your risk down and give you more profit. Just my tuppence worth

I dont need any fancy indicator or excel sheet to realize GBPJPY was a strong buy....just price action is enough

I am looking to sell the GBPJPY but only when I have a time hit 169.05 169.30 or even 169.78 are all potential tops, so I will wait for my time cycle to be matched before selling

thanks hurst just smashed 200 pips on the gpy sold @ 168.860 with 3 trades 2 @ tp 50 and the last one i let it run closed @ tp 120.

Excellent work all of you and thanks for joining the thread, I hope you all made money on this trade. I simply left it and went for a walk as watching trades is very sad. A couple of people have asked me how do I calculate these cycles. Please don't take it the wrong way but it was 8 years of my life countless hours of reading, nothing but failure for I would say most of it.

As you all know knowledge is the most powerful thing you have, I am happy to share trade set ups with all of you, I really want everyone to make money, I really detest brokers as it is really hard to trade and they all pretend it is so easy. So I am all for shaking their coats and getting their money. My discovery of Ganns law of vibration is possibly one of my greatest accomplishments and I paid dearly for it. This is reserved for the fund as it is so powerful and its almost like having the keys to the bank.

A word of advice to you all, if you made money on that trade and I am sure a lot of you did, now is a great time to go and do something else. If you ever wondered why a gambler stay at a casino and loses all the money he made it goes like this.

1. You make money you felt great - the market did exactly what it was supposed to.

2. I will look for another trade and make even more money

3. You now make a trade with larger leverage it goes bad, you lose half of what you made in the morning.

4. I want my money back, once I get it I will stop.

5. Now you are scared, you decide to use really small stops, you get stopped out buying and selling.

6. Frustrated you declare that trading is an idiots game and its rigged.


I know some of you will read this and laugh because they will see themselves in the above. The reality is that after a fast hard move
the market makers will need to start building a position so the chances are the market will range, if you are looking for a nice easy stress free move like we just had you can think again chances are the market might range the rest of the day about 12 am tonight I have a cycle point, so why stress yourselves trying to force a market to play for you. You did well if you traded it tomorrow is a new day.

a Great Call on the time and price for the GBPJPY trade, excellent trade execution.

Can you say where you placed your stop and what time you went short at 169 ?

I went short exactly on my timing line which was in the screen grab I posted, it show 13:00, but that is GKFX and they are 2 hours ahead of UK time. The cycle line is the time I shorted, I looked at where price had gone to before this time and I put my stop 20 pips above the high you can see at 169.07. With time and price points, sometimes the high is the highest close, not always the highest bar, but it can be so I don't want to get kicked out of a trade because I placed my stop too close, once the trade runs my way I bring my stop down, so if I get a fast 20 pips my stop goes to BE because if the cycle is going to work, it will run and not come back.

Year of watching the markets showed me the market makers try to take the high a second time, so if I see a spike and I am close to my cycle I will place an order in close to the last high circa 5 pips off the top as they often attempt a second push up.

I am watching a 34 bar cycle on the 15 min chart provided we don't take out the first low of 15th Jan I would attempt a long position here for a run back to the top at 169. It is possible that the low you can see today is in, however I have to see reactions to the upside off my cycles, to show me when the market is changing direction, the next cycle is 21:30 GKFX time so I will not enter untill that time is reached.
