yes I am following but no vain as I made a blunder by being a greedy dog.... and my account was nearly blown out and now trying to grow it again.

I might not enjoy the gu bounce with full swing as I had planned and because of low funds in account.
anyway I am in and watching.

I don't get to come onto FF as much any more. FXTrading has kind of taken a short step back as 2ndary focus. Am trying to do some online stuff whilst still doing dayjob.
FX is fine - i think I have it now under control where I can make pips but it's not "in the way".... i got my routine etc and takes about 1 hour spread out all day.... about 15M stints 4x a day. Sometimes I come onto FF quickly to check if my bias is shared with some of the crew here I respect (such as yourself). But little time for interaction except for once in a while like today.

You're killing it on GU. I traded the contra on AU. Made a mistake yesterday on DAX which really pissed me off. Had to close NZDUSD short that was in mega green to hedge the DAX mistake..... well there you go, that's trading. I'm thinking of trading the contra on the GU... do you usually go for mid or Fib or Pivot for the retrace? Or do you stick to S/R lines?

shoot, sorry to hear the bad news with your account. safety is foremost. profit is secondary. careful there, volatility is back to markets. you have excellent skills, you will recover.
about GU, my plan was till it reaches the low but now have no clue, what is gonna happen next. maybe it's better to stay away until after the news. eu is just a big mess, could not trade it.

I think this is a great slogan... it's cliche for experienced traders - but I wish I had mentors when I started that had rammed this home to me.

i understand you. there are times we need to step back little. fx is mostly about the skill, just do not step back too far. we need to keep sharpening our skills
you are doing the right thing with FF, too much noise here and green eyes. i found some "fans" here who follow my each post just to find an excuse to suspend me, lol. crazy world.
there are lots of thing going on in global finance. oil, gold, other commodities, stock markets etc. going through turmoil. we will have many things changed in the near future. fx market will also have shakeout. big trend changes, high volatility etc. whatever happens stay safe bro.
about GU, my view is anything may happen but definitely it will be trending with great speed in either way. but the chances to down is more likely, the weekly is just scary. against dollar only yen can stand up. if there is any spike in uj i will be the first one to jump in from short side. no clue about the euro.
i just try to read the chart candle by candle and combine it with s/r levels, no fib or any other stuff as seen in my charts.
i guess, these times is better just to stay with the trend (unless scalping). if trend changes there definitely will be signs on weekly. its better to get in after direction is clear. gu and uc are good examples. i am just a newbie and do not have any credibility to have a say on such big matters. this is all just what my petty mind thinks.
drop a few lines here when you get a chance. your opinions are much appreciated

looks like in mid term both au and nu will fall deep. do not know where eu is trying to reach but probably it will also follow au, nu and gbp at some point

au trade was a roller-coaster but luckily ended with great reward. the last short position closed at .6872
long eu, couple of positions died at be, still trying to get a long position above 1.0930
