the SVXY BWB (big wide butterfly) above can prolly be had for cheaper if you wait til we get a bit of vix crash....also, you don't have to hold till expiry as there may be good returns in the spread well before then - I have shown the P/L in April, ~2 months b4 expiry....in fact, this is the better way to trade these flys - with plenty time to work.....

if you don't mind burning some margin, you can break a wing on the flys or do wide long-dated diagonals....Feb/Mar UVXY diag shown needs to burn $2 to get the debit down to 40c, I will keep shopping them....

always looking for pricing anomalies....obviously not gonna fill a long vert for a credit, but if you get in this long dated UVXY vert for 10c you could do well on any big vix spike, especially one in late Q2 (sell in May,,,,go away?)

MOST TRADES I HAVE NEED TIME TO WORK BUT NFLX ER TRADE IS COMING DUE NEXT WEEK WITH ER ON 1/19.....IVR coming up nicely I just need the share price to move up some, NFLX been getting dinged hard....

similar trade on AAPL (ER 1/26) not doing as well, needs AAPL to rally > $100

market rally helping all my short vol (short UVXY & long SVXY) trades, but I need rally to find some legs for a week or so....I should look for some premium to sell b4 it's all gone....

yeah, maybe so....sharpshooting with 1-2 dte always a gamble, but your low risk accounts for that. I still think oil will shoot for sub $30 in Q1, we'll see.....

Got in on a nice Big Lizard on the QQQs around the open. Also put on a short vert call spread on SPY at the high of the day short 193c long 196c. Apple rallied back nicely for me today 105 may still be a possibility well see...My oil position was up a bit today almost back to break even on my covered call in USO. My BBY short put spread got KILLED today with BBY down like 9-10%. Overall made some money on the day though so can't complain. My short bond vert call spread is pretty much B/E as well.

filled the Jun SVXY bwb ($50/60/70 calls) as shown above for $1.20, need a risk rally into Q2. Prolly coulda got it for less if I'd waited.
