Is anyone familiar with any work on Adaptive parabolic SAR, or chandelier stops or even better ATR stop and reverse indicators?
I found an adaptive parabolic that widens with volatility BUT I am specifically looking for ones that tightens when range explodes vertically, i.e that is to say, when range expands up or down quickly with a higher velocity, the indicator tightens it's stop and reverse levels, and conversely as range tightens the indicator expands its initial s/r levels.
Most of the ones that I've seen that use ATR or volatility allow for variable volatility however they do not adapt to market, or adapt congruently with market, whereas, I'm looking for one that reacts inversely to volatility...volatility expands quickly, indi tightens...and volatility goes into tight range, indi uses larger range for basis.
Anyone seen or have worked on this type of indi?
