DislikedHi Folks, Very interesting thread going on here. I am a big fan of strength meters and recently stumbled upon an indicator called ffx universal strength meter created by master coder Ferrufx. ( a big thanks to him and his generosity.) I have been using this meter for a couple of days now with standard setting provided by Ferrufx . He has coded it for various indicators and for every time frame available in mt4, however i am using only a few of them namely (price candles, macd, cci, adx and moving average) and am using this meter for m15,h1,h4...

DislikedYesterday, i made some experiment. I took snapshot of my screen on every 15 min interval during london session. My objective is: to define, which settings are the best one for CCFp-Diff and CC-Diff (both are MTF's). To be clear, i only use CCFp-Diff, CC-Diff and CSDash currently. DislikedHaven't been here at FF for almost a year. Great to see many are still trading this system. Still works quite good with not much of a change. Instead of 4 hr chart I have been looking at daily, weekly and even monthly bars. Great results on longer term bars. Good Trading !!Ignored
DislikedI use the daily and weekly, seem to work pretty well so far. I don't do anything new in terms of what Es_trader mentioned in the first post. Prefer too keep it simple as possible. Haven't tried monthly, but you could do a visual backtest i'm sure. I would suggest running some backtests yourself since this will provide more valuable information, rather than taking someone else's word on it. It also opens up new ideas of what you see happening in the market.Ignored
