One thing i was thinking the other day was, actually to rethink it FED hikes wont cause any slowdown in US economy. Was more on side of mixed picture at first from hikes (energy sector, cap rates, capital flows...) but to rethink it, probably US economy will do very well due to shitstorm that will hit EMs. If you think it that way EMs especially China have been main growth part of world economy for decade, now that squeeze is coming from debt and capital flows its not just capital that will fly into US, but aswell productivity as companies especially the off-shore ones start to go back into US due to fear and unstable economy. On other hand the question would be what kind of impact will high inflation in EMs have on actual productivity and cost of it, devalueted currency means cheaper costs of production and cheaper exports, but international companies simply cannot operate within high inflation environment. We have seen that in case of Russia last year when many of largest international comapnies simply stop their sales in country due to devaluation of RUB and scrambled large portion of financing/production. Same happened in Venezuela. So in fact the squeeze will be real and companies will stop with large portion of production in EMs which will bring work-force back into US (also EU but not nearly the same) along with production based sector. That said, 3 years from now if there actually is strong increase in US economy i would not be surprised. And it defenetly means we will NOT see any recovery in resources sector wheter that is iron, copper, steel, oil or gas, as demand weakens (EMs) and supply just grows between countries that are trying to beat each other. This is real crisis being forged in rooms of Rotschilds incorporated. Not trying to be negative on view, but thats the way i see it, if i would be in EMs i would defenetly take it very seriously and preapare, perhaps all Chinese and other EM residents that have been buying gold will not look so foolish afterall.

Structure from A to B seem quite bearish to me, I think it might go down to re-test bottom ... also UCAD just broke Daily resistance.

exactly my view in the moment

Generally this is bull structure, but its important to point out that legs have to be fast and small. We have very strong legs here, long term up down chop with strong HH on last one which negates bull view. We are lower already, but i would be looking now for long and possible retest of that highs, thats what usually PA does.



There is no way to use tight SL on getting into this setup from this TF so has to be lower picked, becouse usually PA can go a bit deeper still.
This is what i look to point from previous historical structure (no significant HH there though, so thats what has suggested that previous one is gona have deep break before possible retest). I call this "extended bottoming", becouse most of time PA is gona do break, trap and then push back inside structure and properly bottom out.



We have nice example right now on GJ.

GJ worked out as suggested on pic, structures do its thing usually.


Usually what happens now is retest of bottom peak, eg 173.23 in this case.

Tough one on oil! Good call for the bears. Looks like heading to new lows...
