And here is my final EA for 2015 - DailyTrendFX.

This EA runs on the Daily chart and can be used with many currency pairs. This EA needs to be optimized at the beginning of every month for the period of the last 12 months in order to keep up with market conditions. It uses a build in martingale recovery strategy of 1.5X lot after every losing trade and by default a 1:2 risk/reward SL/TP, which is great for recovery.

All optimization and testing is done using the "Open price only", because it only trades at the open of a new daily candle. I've made a video showing how to setup the EA at the beginning of each new month and also how to determine which set file to use for the current month. This video is distributed with each EA.

So far so good - had some good recoveries over the last week or so.

EA has been optimized now to trade for the month of Jan.

You will notice that going forward this EA will trade less, because I had to make a change to the code. It is suppose to recover only with the open of each new daily candle together with conditions in set file. What happened at first is it ignored the "new candle" condition and recovered only based on technical requirements, which is great under certain conditions, but can lead to bigger draw downs. Therefore I have changed the code and I've chosen the safer and less draw down option.

And that brings us to the end of another week.

As mentioned above the aggressiveness of the EA will be less since I've corrected the code. Recovery will also be slower, but less risky. Monthly goal is 10%, but I'll settle for anything above 7% per month.

I was hoping to see more pairs recover before the end of the week, but I suppose we will have to wait for next week.

2 Pairs so far have recovered well, which is GBPJPY and EURUSD.

So far the EURUSD recovery trade is still open and I'm waiting for the other pairs to meet entry conditions for EA to execute the next trades on USDJPY, USDCAD and EURAUD.

As mentioned before recovery will take more time now that I've fixed the code and entry is only at the open of a new candle.

Banked some good trades today closing 3.8% up with 3 trades.

Slowly, but surely trending back up to the $6k mark.

Not a great ween, but still ended with 2.5% profit and overall for the month 4%.

With two more weeks to go I believe 10% monthly growth is still achievable.

So last month ended at 9.9% profit, which is just about on target. Overall we are on 10.23% monthly profit with a max draw down of 14.62%. I'm happy as long as the draw down is below 25% and if we do reach this draw down I'll have to decide if I'm going to close orders or ride it out a bit longer. The risk of course is that the draw down might increase and then when do you pull the plug.........

New set files has been created this morning as a new month has begun and we start each month with a new set file per currency pair.

Looking forward to the month ahead of us - this is Month 3.
