I am constantly amazed at how some people just expect others to bail them out. I would much rather give $10,000 to a worthwhile charity than give $100 to someone that blew up yet another account. "If your system is so good, why don't you just give it to me and when I make money, I'll pay you for it" If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that I'd be a millionaire just on that alone. And people wonder why successful traders can't be found? Well, it's because on that rare occasion that one does peek his head out and offer some help, the few spoil it for the many.
Everyone always wants to know the "secret" to being consistently profitable at trading. To me, trading is a lot like trying to lose weight. EVERYONE knows how to lose weight: Eat healthy and exercise. It's the only thing that I know that works EVERY time you do it. But, people don't want to do that. They'll buy book after book looking for the secret to lose weight without having to do anything at all.. They'll buy every new pill and plan that comes on the market. And of course they want to lose all of the weight in a week.
Trading is similar. Traders want to be consistently profitable and they jump from system to system hoping that the next one will be the one that will change their lives forever. The next one will take their $100 account to $100,000 in a month. And they want it for free and they want it now and they want it to work automatically, without any work. And after their first losing trade, they move on to the next system.
