Version 1.2 of Renko ADX EA released. In this version the EA employs an ATR based trailing stop. I updated Post 1.

I do not use point and figure charts. However, it is a very good tool to identify support/resistance levels. I may work on point and figure charts...

I think my last post got denied because I'm new and it contained a link.

MathTrader7, have you ever seen a script that turned the Renko bars a different color based on how long it took to form. The shorter the time the brighter the Green if up and the Brighter the red the quicker down. Times range from

bright green for fast/up
dark green for slow/up
dark red for slow/down
Bright red for fast/down

I think this would be a neat experiment and indicator of trend strength.

Duration of Renko bricks varies a lot, from a single second to hours with a 10-pip brick size. You would hardly find exact criteria of how to colour the candle.
The relative speed of the bar is roughly equal to inverted volume, which is easily readable, while the duration is difficult to get.
Here is a linear speed meter indicator attached, and you may see most values are below comparable threshold. You may also notice the speed-volume dependency.

I figured it would be pretty tricky. It would have to be pair specific and calculate a lot of averages to find the right times. I've tried some tick volume indicators and such but none could really give me the info I wanted (better than my eyes).

<5 bright green
5-15 dark green
etc.

this is MACD renko with just MACD indicator ?

Hi Math, plase, wehe I can find description of entry/exit signals? Today this EA makes a few great trades but i don't understand where is entry&exit. I thought it's when candle close above/below SMA8 & it's in right direction of SMA220. Pls, see the printscreen and tell me if I am right. If yes, why the last trade is still open and doesn't close?

hi, im using fxpro mt4 build 902

i have problem, after install all the EA, i cannot attach to chart, or open the properties.
(( all installation is correct ))
how to solve this ?thx

Hi dafa,

Renko MA EA opens buy/sell positions based on a change in the direction of the fast MA and in accordance with a the slow MA. The EA closes a trade when a reverse signal is detected. This is a basic implementation. In the next versions I will add more options to close a position.

SL is under/over the last Renko swing, and there is no fixed TP. The EA closes a position based on a trailing stop.

i am a coder and i write expert to use MACD with MA and use it with Renko with no success
i think if i added RSI and CCI it will work

Hello guys,

I am using version MathTrader7 Renko Street EA 1.5 and ADX 1.2 with default settings. Yesterday I had great profit on my real account. ADX version is not so profitable as version with Renko Street.

hi please help, i cannot load the EA, ( all instalation is correct , the ea is alrady under ea folder, but the icon (left under terminal) is gray not yellow
and i cannot attach to the chart or open the properties,
what should i do ? mt4 902

The EA works on build 910+
You need to upgrade your MT4 platform.

I also see good results with Renko Street EA 1.7 on my VPS setup. I attached the trade explorer to this thread.
