Today only 2 trades, 78+48(demo account). The first I waited until the price touched the trend line in H1 to close.( double top and trendline) a big correction.

My EU and DAX trade, would check DOW out tomorrow Islander. Waiting for UJ to take out previous low and breakout of the cloud. Then a possible UJ short if trade comes before I close for the day which is in 30 mins

Not bad,but when I'm looking what I did,I'm little angry.Toady's trading I called "catch me on wick" Four times in the trend market catch me (SL or BE) on the wicks.So frustrating.But the next day is on + and this is tje most important.

I was making some tests with ninja trader comparing some charts, you can see that renko 4 is similar to 233 tick chart.

Dax 9x67ish......this trade was a disaster in the making.....around 7 PM Manila time seconds away from closing a very fast scalp[3-5 pips x9] we lost all power and internet for 18 hours.....A few years ago this was such a common occurrence here I stopped trading for almost 2 years..But things improved and those blackout events became a distant memory until last night.....This is what I saw when I opened the platform. Yes it was a windfall but it just as easily could have cleaned out the account....
I know all the advice will come flooding and i appreciate it in advance. The trade went to the black so fast I did not have time to set the drop dead SL....too many positions....closing it fast was the thing to do as it quickly turned north....if the blackout came 60 seconds later I would have been out safe and clear....
I have tried trade managers but without much luck

. I do that some times as well, I have a conversation in my head and then turn round to my wife and ask her what she thinks! assuming that she was reading my mind and knew what I was going on about.

You have the luck of the Devil.

A trade manager would not have helped in this situation as they only work while your computer is active and connected to the internet.
Also, I have found the reaction time with the Trade managers to have slowed down considerably, they used to be able to move SLs and set TPs much quicker than I could, now I find with the current versions of MT4 that there is a considerable delay in actions being taken, which has resulted in a loss of pips in some instances.

PS. Just out of curiosity. Why have you got the Renko EA on an offline chart? especially as it is not working.!! This could cause conflicts with other MT4 system files.

The DAX is a little Vixen like that , one day every entry runs off and goes to TP with out any hesitation, the next day price comes back to your entry several times as if it was asking you for reassurance about the direction it is taking.
It makes it difficult to pick a single BE strategy. BUT, Stick with what you are doing, at least the losers are small in comparison to your winners and that is the point.

Hi Dee,

excellent trading once again, learning and absorbing so much just now, can I ask why you closed the initial two buy trades at 10 pip profit, I can see why you closed the last one for 67 pips but not sure why you closed the two prior ones.

Pretty simple really, I just dropped in a couple of scalps to pick up some extra pips, because I have to go out for a few hours. Same thing happened yesterday and I missed some good action.
