Got some slippage on this trade, when filled (negative .8 pip) and when hitting the profit target (+ .6 pip).

You are right, there were GBP red news coming up, but 1 hour and a few mins later. So it was close, but still to the rules. Timezones can get confusing here. Just compare the broker/chart time with the marked LO. This clarify the timezone...

Hi All - new poster here. Been trading a long time with mixed success. Both fx and futures. I am not disciplined. Plain and simple. I have watched Udinefx post on Twitter a long time and not really taken the time to check him out. I started reading this board a couple weeks back and going through it in detail. I found a nice match with Robinho and his ability to simplify things and show exactly what he is / was looking at.

I often take trades that are green (quite often in a significant way) and then they turn and go red and I sit and watch. I am done with that method. I am not the type of trader that can sit and watch and manage trades that way. My entries were good, my management was horrible. So I tried this method out the past week. I had 9 trades (I did not trade constantly) and I lost one on the Eur/Cad. This loss took me out at 20 pips. It proceeded to turn and go up about 80 pips in the intended direction without me. All others were winners and quite quickly actually. I was only trading the top 1 and 2 spots. If they were strong, I was willing to trade them. The results were unreal. I was in and out quickly and on to the next setup. Even doing this though, I found myself lacking discipline. I would let them go beyond 5 pips on occasion and close it out. I would let it slip more than 10 pips (in which they did come back) and I would wait it out. My point is this: why would I do that?

Look at U's Twitter feed and assuming he is posting all trades, look at his win %. Look at Robinho's posts here, and look at his win percentage. Do I think I can do better than that? Do I need to do better than that? No. I do not.

They are (along with others here) trading this system with unbelievable success. Why should I try to re-invent the wheel? I am just going to do what they do and I will find success. I like Robinho's 1x8 idea and that is what I am going to trade based off. I am going to trade a 12 point stop. I am going to set my TP at 5. (and yes I know that is looked upon as certain failure in trading by many, this is not my first rodeo) but that is what I am going to do. I do not care if other people who I have never met, never will, and who have absolutely no impact on my personal finances have an expert opinion for me. I do not care if they believe this system will work or not. I am trusting the people whom I want to trust at this point in time and I am going to base my trading on what is working for them.

My intent is not to ramble on. I just want to say thank-you. Thanks to those who have found success and have taken their time to post about it. Thank-you for sharing. This board has been alive a long time. That shows me that in theory it works. My execution on the other hand may get in the way. But if it does, that's my fault. I hope those of you whom have found success, will continue to post and be patient. I appreciate your time and I am hopeful this forum topic continues to be successful as well. I am not a guy who posts on forums a lot. I usually find most people that speak out are the one's who are negative and always say it will not work. Life is too short for all the negativity. I'm working a long time on the strength 1x8, and the results are amazing. I do not know why people do not follow this method. Just looking at the strength 1x8 or 1x7 or 2x7 or 2x8. I have already put a lot of pictures and I explained over and over again.

All major currencies run together, or to one side or the other. At the moment we have a strong currency and the market is falling, you have only to look at the weaker currency and see the timing of his family only down. (EURUSD, EURJPY, GBPUSD, GBPJPY etc ...). At the moment we have a weak currency and the market is rising, we have only to look the stronger currency and see sync only your family up.

I can't agree more than what you've stated already! This system is working like a charm, if one just follows simple rules. There is no magic behind, just simplicity. I have nothing to add, all has been said long time ago and there are some traders (at least) using this system slightly modified but with success.

Well Robinho, I can say that I use your method with great success.

I tested first on my Demo account and 1 or 2 trades on my live account. This coming week I will go full time on live account with this method (Always testing a new strategy on Demo first)

I started to use Udine's method. I found that I had 50% success rate which wasn't good enough. See an earlier post how I interpreted rule 2. So I follow ALL the other rules, but according to Ericjscroed I misunderstood Rule2.
That is possible and therefore did not work for me.

I started to use S&R instead of the Rule 2 (000 level) and got better results.

Then I started using Robinho's Forexstrength and this past week had 18 wins and 1 loss. 124pips profit.

Using the Robinho's rules with ForexStrength as entry with all other rules of Udine in that combination is working great for me.
I still use S&R, but only to see if I will reach 5 pips minimum and set stoploss to just the other side of Support.

Forex strength meter is a good indicator, but can be tricky. Price is always the best indicator. :nerd:

Like now USD around 8 and AUD, NZD at the bottom around 2.

In spite of this fact price respected levels and harmonic pattern, pivots and reversed accordingly...

Strong CHF 7.9 -> USDCHF short. Double bottom and end of harmonics.

I will wait a little longer, but it's good for today

I use the base rules posted on page #1, and added AbsulotStrengthhisto indicator, also downloaded and installed Supreme-Meter

1. i dont understand what is 1x8 - 1x7 - 2x8 ???

2. how do you select your trading pairs based on supereme-meter ? what do you call powerfull (currency with power 6 or higher for example) ? and what do you call weak ? and when ? (considering the values are changing permenantly)

3. do you use all 28 pairs ? or just a few selected pairs ? (please share your choices)

4. is there any rules other than udins page#1 rules ? somewhere you said you check the M5-M15-M30 candles color ....

5. somewhere in the thread you said you check the m-candle and absolut-histo and m30 bar color, and in the picture pointed the candle before the NY open, do you get your direction based on that ? how exactly ?



Simplicity of the system and your screenshots and great performance was what made me a fan of the system, it looks simple when you do it, but when i put it to practice, i cant do what your doing
