While other Economic Calendar sites rate Mario Draghi's and Janet Yellen's speech between medium and high on Wed 11-Nov-15 and Thu 12-Nov-15 respectively DailyFX does not list these economic events at all. Remarkably, DailyFX lists the Fed Bullard, Locker and Dudely speeches on Thu 12-Nov-15 and as mentioned, not Janet Yellen's speech. The possible consequences and repercussions of omitting key events from an economic calendar are obvious. This is not a beta issue, its an observed ongoing issue.

It starts slowly to become abundantly clear, despite all the bla bla of your representatives here in this thread, that the FXCM implementation of MT4 is one of the worse in the business. If you can not even show the spread on your chart... (not necessary to repeat that you are at the brink of the RE-invention of the hot water, concerning the spread).
I have an EA that I test on several brokers. I make comparison LIVE demo versus Back Test with the same settings etc. And the winner of the worse results is ...

That wouldn't be my first conclusion. That's why I suggest confirming the details of the offer with my colleague Paul.

Hi CatMan,

Have you had a chance to test demo account recently on our MT4 Euro demo server? I ask because the charts on that demo server have already been updated to reflect our raw FX spreads. This is the first step before rolling this MT4 chart solution out to other servers.

Jason, Can you pass this along to the coders @ FXCM (or if anyone else here knows the answer). I have used the following code with all my MT4 brokers without a problem. But this doesn't seem to work on my FXCM mini account. I get divide by 0's. Why? double MoneyManagement(string Sym,double Risk) { double MinLots = MarketInfo(Sym,MODE_MINLOT); double MaxLots = MarketInfo(Sym,MODE_MAXLOT); double Leverage = AccountLeverage(); double LotSize = MarketInfo(Sym,MODE_LOTSIZE); double LotStep = MarketInfo(Sym,MODE_LOTSTEP); double FinalAccountBalance =...

Hi Nondisclosure,

My colleagues in programming tried to replicate the "divide by zero" error you received but could not. They thought it's possible the error might be coming from another place and suggested that you try using print statements of the various values to see which one might be returning the zero value on your platform.

If you still require further assistance after that, you can reach out to our Programming Services department at [email protected]

Hi Jason
Does FXCM trading station WEB have the TDI indicator preloaded, if not can it be loaded or replicated in anyway?
I tried loading the MACD indicator which is preloaded on trading station web and it looks very different to the one on metatrader. Any ideas my setting are 5,13,1.

Thanks

To be correct ... at the end of the week and after a shaky start, the broker with the most profit was: FXCM.

Hi Moneyrunner,

While Trading Station Desktop allows you to load additional indicators, Trading Station Web is limited to the indicators that are already included. TDI is not one of those indicators. Are you able to use Trading Station Desktop?

What time frame are you using on your charts? If you could post a screenshot highlighting the differences you see in the MACD indicator for Trading Station Web and MT4, it would help me to investigate this for you.

Thanks,
Jason

BE CAREFULL!!! - Don't open an account with Investors Europe - they stole over $8000 from and they operate under the false pretence that they are regulated in Mauritius but they are not regulated anywhere I checked with the regulators

Hi Phylo,

Based on your feedback, the DailyFX team has updated their Economic Calendar to include more events including speeches of the kind you mentioned. There's a feedback link on the new DailyFX beta site, if you have any more suggestions.

Thanks again,
Jason

So it's mid-November and UK clients of FXCM still don't see accurate bid/ask lines on their charts (those using live GBP accounts, not demo EUR accounts or anything else that isn't relevant to live GBP traders). I've changed my trading strategy so precision on the chart is not as important now as it was, but it's still worrying that FXCM UK can't or won't show accurate prices on their charts (I lean to won't, but that's just my personal opinion). I'm going to stop posting about this, because it's achieved nothing. It doesn't affect me now, but it could well catch many 'newbies' as they start trading. I still can't figure out the advantage to FXCM, but it must be there. Sad, because I've had a good experience with FXCM UK in every other respect. I'll stick with FXCM UK because of the advantages to me, but think carefully.....

Absolutely totally agree.
I would think it will be March 2016 before we get to see the real accurate bid/ask lines on our fxcm charts.
I think they are still working out how to adjust their cut when they want it, just in case they need it later.
Or maybe they were expecting "their" tradestation to be more successful than it has been.

The ONLY thing keeping fxcm in the market is their lower margins.
The commission doesn't help.
The charts don't help.
The inability of programs to display swap doesn't help.
If they step in line with the nyse move - no more stop trades - well... just watch the doors.

Sharpen up your cv Jason, may be worth having a few quiet drinks with people in your external network.

cheers scalpz

Hi PT,

Is there something in particular you don't like about it? Our research team is currently beta testing a new format for the calendar on the new DailyFX site: http://bit.ly/1I1zDml

We welcome your feedback and there's even a feedback tab on the right-hand side of the new website which you can use to send comments directly to the DailyFX team.

I agree with poundtrader, I think it looks too much spaced out, it should be more compact for an easyer overlook
so what exactly is an easyer overlook? by one glance, you should be able to see the intire picture. just my opinion though
Bulls are stupid Animals!especially when Im short!
