Please notice that there is "news" scheduled for this pair tonight.... It is of my opinion that if the pair is held and retraced today, that the news will result in a weaker AUD and or stronger JPY... sending this pair down again... much lower in my opinion... so much for the "news"!

As a matter of fact, they could end up dropping both sessions... but a lot of shorts trapped now...

Well I'll just be hogtied.........

Broker tick data actually DOES have a function!

For the longest time I had dismissed fx tick data as, well, hogwash.

But the tick data represents transactions, and big price movement on low ticks means price is moving without participation. Or that participation is waning more and more as price moves up. At some point, buyers will just dry up and they have to start bidding prices down. So if you see very high tick volume but the price does not make a new high, can we say that a failure is in the offing?

Cap'n, is this picture the start of a BARF? Drawing the trend lines correctly is critical with this I suspect. Is this right?

No, no yet....it's usually a topping action...no bump yet.... just slow walking a D1 candle....

Sometimes when trading lines/fibs/pivots the gut feeling is like standing in front of a speeding train. Possibly, the best would be just to leave orders, define risk and reward and forget about them.
