I only know if the 2nd candle has the same color as the set up candle after that 2nd candle has closed, since a candle repaints as long as it is open. So that makes me enter at the 3rd candle (if the 2nd candle has the same color as the set up candle). Anyone can confirm this? Or do I miss something here? Thanks a bunch!

it depends on what you see as PA on your chart.
the setup candle is the one which closes across the 5EMA.
so the next candle will be your entry candle.

So maybe I should wait a while and see how that second candle develops, if it's in the right direction I just enter during this second candle, would that be the right thing to do I guess?

those look like Bill Williams' Fractals which is available in most trading platform.

To all newbies:

do your self a favour if you want to trade the 5-Method.
Big E took the Synergy trading model and strip away the lines from the TDI and also remove the PAC. he replace the PAC with the 5EMA, Typical Price , Shift+3.
he made it into a simple and aggressive entry method.

you should start by learning how to trade the conservative way by learning from the hundreds of tutorials on trading and the Synergy trading model.
there are also many videos (from 2008 up to today) on many other aspects of trading which you need knowledge in. ... where to place SL, about the ATR and how to use that ATR, abput how to manage trades and maximise profits,

it is all free here if you want to trade the Synergy trading model. There is no need to buy anything except free knowledge and exprience shared free-of-charge by people who put their real name on them.

there is so much knowledge in these videos, trust me when I tell you I learned everything from these videos and lot more from other resources else where.

a lot depends on what you see in the 1stAPB candle.
it price action at support and resistance first,
then next thing is the TDI setup.

look at GBPNZD on H4 and D1 yesterday, which comes first?

I would wait for the 2nd candle to close, then if it is the same color enter on the open of the 3rd candle. You really think it makes much difference in the long run if you enter as soon as you see the 2nd candle the same color or waiting for it to close? Not likely.

That is because that rule is for the safer leg3 continuation move. EEL wants to also take the leg1 thrust, which for a buy, typically will have green and red below yellow down at the lower VB. Check some charts and you will see it. After that leg1 thrust you will see a retracement that typically pulls the green and red back to yellow (MEAN REVERSION in action!). Now you will see leg3 start that pretty much matches the above rule.

Consider using that yellow line!! It is actually a good medium term momentum indicator. It's slope shows you whether momentum is rising or falling.
