Hey guys. Is there a way (like an EA or something) that can lock my metatrader account after I have taken a few losses in a row? Or lost a predefined amount? So that i do not have the ability to try and "make it all back" because most of the time it does not work anyway and the loss for the day becomes huge. Anybody knows of that kind of a program?

There are ways to do it but there will always be ways to circumvent those methods.
Once you've learnt how to circumvent the protections, you probably will (assumption being made on the basis that you need to use these methods in the first place).
Here is some sample code to show one method:
This code will now constantly monitor your day's PL. If the loss exceeds the amount you've specified it will automatically shut down the terminal.
The default setting is 10000. If you drop this lower to experiment please bear in mind you may end up locking yourself out the terminal for the rest of the day.
It also means you won't be able to manage any open positions (unless you add additional code).
Note: yes, there are numerous methods to circumvent this, but there is no point in me telling you how to do that
