Looking at the above screenshots, I am wondering if it is a variant of grid trading with some entry logic (perhaps counter trend...)?

It is currently trading as a Grid Trader, yes.

An idea of the logic was posted, HERE.

Default is set to trade as a Trigger on Grid, mandating a minimum of 2 pips, 5 minutes and a trigger between trades.

Counter trend?

No....

Trend by way of confirmation.

The success of this and the limited DD is based on the fact that it recognizes a trend, stays in trend, trades a dynamic oscillating range inside of that dynamic daily range.

Check it...

Minimum of 2 pips between trades and since the start of last weeks trading, hasn't seen a MAX Draw on the account ($1500), of 1.65%.
High win Rate, steady gains, acceptable Profit Factor running the same exact parameter sets on 6 different trade pairs, trading off of an M1 chart.

Further supportive in the "Not a Counter Trend" trader...

Look at the advanced stats in the Myfxbook link I posted.

From the date that Guppy started trading, EURAUD has only been selling off, with exception of the capitulation bounce, yesterday.

Up until the last 5 hours, it hasn't taken a single long trade on EURAUD...1047 pips earned shorting this pair.

IF you look at the chart, where it had exited all short trades, where is the assumption that this was anything but a downtrend?

Definitely an interesting day in market...

The previous exodus on Cable that got bought back up is going to show the guppy with it's first net loss on a pair over the course of a day.

First. Daily. Net. Loss. On. A. Single. Pair!

The rest of the pairs, though not really kicking ass today, are making up for this 6 pip deficit and if you check out the rest of the days action, you can see the Trendy Tripping of the Guppy.

This week has certainly offered up it's share of whipsaws and reversals, Guppy still handling it like a champ!

Try before you buy?

To try and make this more available and hopefully improve the success of my Charity Drive, would anybody be interested in working with the EA on a limited basis, while we are still working on the licensing?

I do have a price point in mind for the first drive, and will be making adjustments as we go...but I think that in the mean time, perhaps padding the account with a few Shekles to help tip you over the edge might not be a terrible idea...

Anybody down?

Have you thought about just transferring the profits straight to the charity? I suspect you can even avoid taxes that way

Nevermind, I have read that is part of your plan. Would be really cool if you can avoid taxes that way, or even set it up to where they continually get the profits

Well, here in lies the problem...

IF I can't get it licensed, I cannot distribute, so taking donations on something that isn't now nor may never be ready, well...It just wouldn't be that good for future projects. There is already enough scrutiny over Scammy Scumbags already, not a lot of sense in adding my name to that list.

However...

If I do provide some files that will get folk up and running, give them a chance to make a few bucks whilst they wait, if they like what they see and can effectively prosper, it should go a long way in getting me to my goals.

I do appreciate the offer, JH...just want to make sure I do this properly.

Working on the lock to account numbers like was used in Sergiens V3 Voodoo.

Start the EA
Pop up box will show the Unique ID.
Provide this unique id and the license code will be sent.

Going by way of a single lock to account, easy enough to do..but this way no user need provide their account number and I wouldn't have to manually change/enter in every account number.

This was all discussed as the benefits when Serg through together his magic...without his expertise, I am leaning a little heavier on others to accomplish this...Basic code and writing triggering logic is my forte...getting it all into the newer version of MQL4 and licensing...not so much.

The Licensed version of Guppy is ready for Beta Testing!

w00t!!!!

I am going to be firing this up and giving it a run on a side by with the original to verify that all is good in the hood.

After that, we will be opening up for live testing!

In the meantime, I will be posting a try before you buy that will trade as it has until the Live version is released.

Does this handle reversals in trends or do you have to manually stop when you think market is turning around and start it when market is trending again. I have ran multiple trend EAs but they were bad when the market was turning around so that is why I am wondering.

Trial will run until Friday, October 23, 2015.

After running the licensed version for a couple of days to compare logic, it may be available before then.

Price point will be discussed on launch.
