No, i change some (not very much) of the settings based on the select basket. # of pairs, which pairs etc.

Hey guys.

I came around with this EA (which is great, by the way), but I don't know if I'm doing it right (yes, I read it all). Numbers in the screen:

1 - Waiting for B to give me the entry point?

2 - Should wait for the Q to change, or should I've done something by now?

In my humble opinion:

BUY - B UP - Q DOWN - TD UP

SELL - B DOWN - Q UP - TD DOWN.

Don't forget to look at the charts though!
The only thing that will make us successful is if we can control ourselves!

Basically the BSM ea is a Basket Selector and designed for basket trading.

You use the lock date/time (on screen or in the settings) to lock pairs in the buy/sell baskets to trade.
I lock the baskets at Asia+2 and create the offline baskets and charts at LO-1 using the Strong/Medium/Combi buttons next to the baskets.
Locked means the content of the baskets will not change anymore after the set lock time until you [reset] or [Unlock] giving you the time to setup everything.

After that i open the basket separate charts using BDM to have an overview of all pairs selected in the basket(s).
If i do not like one or more of them i go back to the BSM de-select the one(s) i do not want in the basket and re-generate the offline chart with the Strong/Medium/Combi buttons.

After that you open the offlline charts and start basket trading using fi. BT_14_v27.

M15 - W1 = Trend direction
CC = Concurrent currency strength. You can see the base currency strength in the top left corner of the box
TS = Trend strength
TD = Calculated trend direction over M15-W1

Depending on the basket selection method

Direction
B = Base currency strength
Q = Quote currency strength
TD = Trend direction

Strength
B = Base currency strength
Q = Quote currency strength
TS = Trend strength

Both
B = Base currency strength
Q = Quote currency strength
TC = Trend direction & strength combined

The number in the buy/sell selection box should represent the number of M5 bars (5 minutes) the pair is in the buy/sell basket.
Isn't working for now.

I am really sorry but somebody can help me to install it orrectly, I was discouraged.
I installed BDM121.zip and executed ForceLoadHistoricalD...ex4 and it does not work

First of all, do not install any of the EA's on a pair chart you are using in trading. EURUSD is not a good chart.
Make sure you marketwatch windows shows all the pairs you need and want to trade.
Run the ForloadHistorical data script on an empty chart BEFORE you load any of the EA's and make sure it completes with not errors.
The best is to make sure you have EURSEK, EURDKK and EURHKD in your marketwatch.

1:
Open a EURUSD chart and load BDMv1.21 on it.
Default the chart should change to EURSEK,daily.

2:
Open a new EURUSD chart and load BSMv1.05
Default the chart should change to EURDKK,daily.

3: (optional)
For basket trading and the basket manager open a new EURUSD chart and load BTMv1.05 on it.
Default the chart should change to EURHKD,daily.
The screen will stay black but as soon as you open an offline chart generated by BSM this BTM ea will pick that up and you will see the baskets and will be able to manipulate the basket and individual trades.

You can skip step 2 if you load step 1 the BDM using the BSMBSM.set which will load the BSM as a dashboard automatically on a EURSEK,m30 chart.

Merci Hotpotato, I go tried
Just again an example, saw an eur,usd,cad weakness on BSM (far too late) , entered, $30 margin needed,and left it (too long, busy with other things).
But still trading on a $200 account it would be fine.

My terminal hanged and when restarting I had to close down all charts and start clean. Attached BDM 1.21 as usual. But it removes itself from the EURSEK chart and even the chart closes. Any ideas?
I also cleaned the object list/global variables.
