With the interest rate hike/statement coming out, it appears that the EUR/USD pair is trying to "front run" the announcement. I think that a lot of traders are betting on the Fed not being able to raise rates - or if they do......to say something about taking a very, very, very long time to do so. With this, I am thinking this pair is going higher. Even more interesting long-term? EUR/CAD.....

yeah. almost up 100 pips now. good fun. I suspect it is a credible rumor driving this. However, we are entering the whiplash zone.

my guess is that we have higher highs in the future. the fall from 140 which started a little over a year ago was based primarily on three factors: most recent Greek crisis, QE in the Euro and the thought of tightening in the US. Now two of those factors are off the table. A reasonable expectation would be that some of those losses should be regained.

The really funny thing is that with this move the fed has effectively devalued the USD by about 3% and with more to come, but nobody accuses them of currency manipulation - unlike the Chinese. The really funny part is that the fed has effectively devalued the Chinese currency by the same amount, and again, nobody complains.

......If you want this "method" to work for you.....you really need to adjust your thinking. I know that fear and greed are very difficult to control when we trade, but it really is the battle you are fighting.

In the trade above, I chose to enter based on a signal after the fact. I don't usually advise this, however this situation is very clear cut to me. 131-135 is a major area of resistance. If it breaks to the upside, we are going a lot higher.

If I am wrong on this trade, it will be worth it. Think of it as "paying for information". It's cheap to do if you think about it. If I am wrong, I lose 1%. If I am right, it could be 5,10, or even 15% before it's all over. However, if I am wrong, I will look for a long, and adjust my thinking. The market really can be an open book, if you read it's language.

There is nothing random about this at all.

You will notice I put the stop above 135. Why? Because that area matters a hell of a lot more than the top of my 4 hour pinbar.

Hi Alto ,if it went to that res again you'd see freefall I'm not joking ,besides the tl will only b valid to sell off in the future imo

It really comes down to what you want or need. I offer signals, and of course private training. But to be honest - most people just to the SMS signals. I show a lot of what I do here as well of course.

I do agree with the basic premise of this writing, as I think the paying for information bit is 110% true.

GBPCHF: MY ROAD MAP

1.5500 -1.5300= Key Zone =Start of the shock . This has proved a strong ceiling so far.

Up Trendline is broken, and price is caught up in a trading range of 6weeks at a common price.

Regarding the above, my bias is short once price detach from the 6weeks MODE.

There's a lot of room to the downside, given enough time.
That said, I'll be sitting on my hands, as far as the weekly chart is concerned.


I'll step down to Daily and 4H next.......

I don't know, I understand this pair is a bit overextended, but in the end - the CAD looks horrible overall, and the 50 EMA is just below. Not a indicator I follow a lot, but it is one that a lot of people do........I still prefer buying over selling.

Watch oil markets though.

Keep an eye on USD/JPY. It is hugging the vital 120 level, and forming a triangle thing...yes - I see we broke above the top line of it, but in the end - we didn't close above there......

id be careful of the open if it remains today ,besides to me that last month is a star as in evening star ,so up will be rejected before the high
