Jason, cannot access myfxcm either now. Please advise. This is bullshit!

MyFXCM.com is running but due to high volume not everyone can access the site at the same time. If you have trouble loading the site now, please try again later to complete the reset of your password.

Similarly, our live customer support team is answering calls and live chats 24 hours a day as always, but you will experience longer wait times today due to high call volume from this incident.

I'm up and running now and all appears to be fine. I have a call into my Account Manager who is helping with some wire issues I'm having.

Huge losses from the SNB debacle.
Data breach
Stock price plummets
Insiders abandoning ship

....and I'm just sitting here wishing the quotes in my Market Watch window matched the bid/ask prices on my charts..

Jason, I've been with y'all nearly 9 years, man. Give me some hope, please.

Jason, you have a hard job. On a positive side, maybe this will push FXCM to step up their security to prevent another hack.

fxcm is surviving on the patience of their customers and their reluctance to plow through another brokers setup rigmarole.

No other broker expects their "valued" clients to trade on screens with the incorrect prices displayed on charts.
Its not a joke - its absolutely lazy and incompetent.

Jason - are you still the same original individual posting here for the company under your Jason Rogers handle.
Cant believe/understand why you still work for them - sorry.

I guess all you can do is push out the old - it is coming, its closer and I will advise you soon - line.

My ea's are still on hold for this account so my manual trading on here is running at just over 10% of my other broker accounts.

This whole FXCM issue is not smelling good !!

Thats why traders should have multiple brokers to spread the risk.

They were never my main broker but still I'm so glad I took 90% out of my account with them.

I hope I'm wrong but I may never see the 10% I decided to leave there again !!
So, you think you have rights? LOL

New issue of the day:

Prices in the market watch window don't match the price on the chart.

I'm not talking about the bid/ask spread error either. I mean the bid price in the market watch window is roughly 1-1.5 pips different than the bid price on the chart. Both on PC and mobile MT4 platforms.

My gut tells me these types of data inconsistencies aren't something I'd want in a broker. Between this and the whole company being hacked, I'm to the point where I need to be convinced to stay with Fxcm. If I had a rinky-dink account I wouldn't be sweating it but I've got serious money tied up in this seemingly sinking ship.

Jason,

I have a withdrawal request of USD200.00 on Sept. 1, 2015. The said amount was deducted on the same date
from my live account. But, until now there is no money transfer to my debit/credit card.

I already contacted my card company and requested for statement of account up to 02 Oct., 2015 but there
was no money transfer/remittance record from fxcm.

I already sent a follow-up email to admin@fxcmmarkets last Sept. 25, regarding my withdrawal request but I haven't received any reply.
Today I sent another follow-up email to admin@fxcmmarkets, and i'm still waiting for reply.

What the problem with my withdrawal request?

I will highly appreciate any help you may extend regarding this matter.

brgrds,
st888

Agreed. It's only the hassle of setting up with another broker that's stopping me moving. I also need the chart data to be highly accurate and having to work around this is driving me nuts. They either can't be bothered sorting something that every other broker manages to do, or there's some advantage to them in keeping the status quo.

Great, it's been 20 hours of no access to my account and open positions and a not working MyFXCM.com for self-service.
You can talk, live chat, write email messages what you want with all friendly people who will solve your problem right away but it all ends with a department ADMIN which is probably underemployed and doing the work they normally do in 1 year.
I appreciate the problems such a hack can cause but there simply is no excuse in the way they handle that.
I just wonder if there is more going on than just this amateurish solving problems of a hack......

Look, I don't claim to understand all the ins-and-outs of trading technology but I'd think that getting the price feed right is some pretty basic sh*t for brokers of anything. I spent last night looking at new brokers because honestly, while I understand that bad things happen, I can't come to terms with how badly they're being managed at FXCM. I'm sure Jason can explain why I can't see swap data in MT4, I'm sure he can explain why the bid prices in my Market Watch window (and even on my dashboard indicator) don't match the bid price(s) on my charts. I know he can explain why my MT4 charts don't display the correct bid/ask spread. But really, with as much money as I have in this account, why should I have to settle with inconsistent and misprinted data? Why should any of us?

I can deal with the company metrics being rough or their financials being not-so-hot. I can deal with their company getting de-listed (if it happens). I can deal with wait times for customer service, whatever. But when my price feeds are this much of a mess, and an accurate price feed is tantamount to trading that, I can't deal with. Over the course of the last year or so, I've seen all kinds of things FXCM said they were "going to implement" and I still don't have accurate prices on my charts. When people here would say FXCM was a "bucket shop" I'd disagree; they'd always been good for me. But today, I don't know if I can disagree anymore. Hell, now I'm looking at my charts wondering if even the historical data is accurate.

If I go to a hardware store that sells good tools, I don't care if the cashier is unfriendly, I'm there for quality tools. But if the tools suck as well, why the hell am I there to begin with?

Hi USD-Bear,

There was a surge in site visits to MyFXCM.com yesterday with all the password resets, but you should be able to access the site now. If you still cannot, please send me a private message with details on the request you sent to our Operations department at [email protected] including the email address/account number for which you sent it. I'll follow up with Operations to see if I can get your request expedited.

I have large chunk of money with FXCM and am of the same opinion, however there is no one in US who can do better or worse job then FXCM..so there is no place for us to go, especially who trades through MT4...unfortunately we stuck and looks like stuck forever....thy only preya is that FXCM does not go down with all of the clients money...

I know, it's terrible. I was demoing Interactive Brokers' platform last night and this morning and honestly, FXCM's TS2 is a damn-decent platform. At least in Trading Station 2 the damn prices are accurate and with the DailyFX news feed at least there's some information in it. I figure if I break away from the garbage MT4 platform, trading with FXCM may be less of a headache. I'll apparently have to change my account type to use trailing stops in TS2 - which is aggravating. I dunno. You're right though, we're trapped. I'd love to get with a broker that offers cTrader and market depth like Pepperstone but, no US clients.

It's funny, dontcha think? We're bound and gagged by the Dodd-Frank "consumer protection" act and yet, we'd be better off holding foreign accounts.
