Chart example - QM level these kind of set up provide great R. Haven't traded this pattern lately, concentrated more on price action based trades on M5 / M1 and 1 pip chart, but will start looking for QM pattern too from now on.

Chart Example: EURUSD M30 chart. A combination of SR level and fresh demand zone. Price broke out previous two highs, so some retracement was expected and an opportunity for supply and demand traders to go long with target next supply zone. About 2R value to FLR.

EURUSD M5 Supply zone with overall price action suggest bears in control today.

Sell Limit Entry: 1.1136

Stop Loss: 1.1142

Take Profit: 1.1124

Trade Result +2.0R

Hey, Ali, i gained some new understanding of LJ's trading recently, then i come back to check this trade of yours.

but this trade is not quite LJ's style, is it?

this trade seems a bet on the reaction at the supply (where you entered), and the bet worked.

If LJ PA trading, we need to identify the consumption vs rejection before the entry. what's your thought?

No it was not a typical LJ PA trade. The trade was taken based on down trend on M5 as price making lower highs and lower lows plus the supply zone where I entered was also a swap zone (demand turned supply zone) and very clear supply zone with a reasonable retracement. As such if sellers are interested to take price down this is most likely place they will start loading shorts once again.

On the other hand my typical LJ PA trade are those where price is at my area of interest on higher time frames such as M30 / H1 / H4 and then I start looking for price action on lower time frames such as M5 to M1 and enter trade with tight stop loss.

Some Indicators, cleaning up my PC so posting it here for future use.

NZDUSD H1 Sell limit at H1 Supply Zone.

Entry : 0.6373
Stop Loss : 0.6405 (32 pips)
Take Profit : 0.6318 (55 pips)

Trade Result: -0.44R (tighten stop loss after initial rejection and moved it at the top of reject bar at 0.6387)

USDJPY buy limit order at H1 demand zone

Entry : 119.36
Stop Loss : 119.13 (23 pips)
Take Profit : 119.67 (31 pips)

Trade Result: +1.35R (Take profit taken at historical SR level)

EURUSD buy limit at M15 demand zone

Entry : 1.1204
Stop Loss : 1.1184 (20 pips)
Take Profit : 1.1252 (48 pips)

Trade Result: +2.40R (Take profit taken at opposing supply zone)

AUDUSD Sell limit order at H1 supply zone - Order missed by couple of pips and approaching FLS as such order cancelled. Would have been good for at least +2R.

EURUSD had a sell limit order at 1.1260 moved it a bit higher at 1.1271 but now decided to cancel order. The price structure suggest price might head much higher. Also the FLS is too close as such low value trade.

AUDJPY sell limit at H1 supply zone.

Entry : 84.44
Stop Loss : 84.82 (38 pips)
Take Profit : 84.10 (34 pips)

Trade Result : +0.89R (Take profit taken at FLS viz. opposing demand zone)

Chart example: GBPJPY H1 supply zone. Missed this trade as didn't analyze this pair yesterday, but good for example purpose, would have been good for about 1.5R.

Also a long opportunity at opposing demand zone, but price didn't quite hit the level, so order would have missed by few pips.

AUDUSD sell limit at H1 supply zone.

Entry : 0.7071
Stop Loss : 0.7100 (29 pips)
Take Profit : 0.7026 (45 pips)

Trade Result : +1.55R

Chart example - NZDUSD QM sell level - didn't trade but good for example purpose.

Potential QM levels on H1 time frames for EURUSD & USDCAD. However, tomorrow is NFP news event so any pending orders should be avoided. Will reassess after the dust is settled.

EURJPY buy limit order at H1 QM level plus demand zone. Price missed my order by about 6 pips and hit FLR as such order cancelled. Would have been good for atleast +2R.
