GER30. +100x2. Be aware of divergence, but, in a strong trend like this one wait for it to prove it's self. It was soon cancelled by a HH. Instead look for a reason for the market to change direction, S&R was at 9720 ish, expect a reaction in this area not sooner. When price starts to move slower than paint drying, it shows that there is very little interest in the prices at that level, it means there are not enough buyers or sellers to move the market. {image}

Ger30+50x2. I have been letting both contracts run the distance hence the x2. Price actually came back down and kissed my sl, but for once it did not take it. lunch time at the Broker

dee50 thanks a million for not replying my PM where i asked you your trading rules, as this motivated me to read all 177 pages and most of the pdfs you posted thereby making me a better trader, i appreciate. one question i have though is when u traded EURUSD you went to BE +2 at 5 pips. when do you move your trade to BE +2 now you trade DAX. secondly does it mean you never make loses or you dont post your loses because i have never seen you post a loss

Same answer for DAX except, DAX is more volatile so needs a bit more room, as a rough guide I would move to B/E after 15 pips, but it really depends on how the DAX is moving, if I think I can move sooner I do. It really depends on your entry are you in early or late, are you in the bottom of the price cycle or the middle or god forbid, the top.

GER30 +147x2. Closed manually as price and MACD have been diverging for some time and there is even divergence on the stochs. 9600 has held up price before but S&R and channel Bottom/Trend Line are just a bit lower, I could have left it, I moved sl down to +107 but I have been monitoring this for nearly 5 hrs and now I am sleepy. I did not take 1 lot off so I have 2x147 that is enough to buy the bread for today I could even have a coffee too.
I did not take the dbl top short, I missed the signal so when the pullback became a triple top it was great, i still hesitated and waited for a pullback on the 5 pip chart before entering, what I had not spotted was the rising channel that came later. Initially I was targeting the 200% of the 123, but then I zoomed out and spotted the channel, it did not show on the HTFs.
I would have expected to see some other charts posted especially with a triple top and 4 x 123 entries on the way down, I often wonder!!

dax +20+10+5+70+40 (+48)
this morning the same thinking that led dee to take that short,
again my broker was information greed, and for me only DBL TOP, but it was enough to enter.
had to close immediately because out for other business. returned in the afternoon and saw the dive of dax dwn to 9600 dry,
with some hesitation the first three then a definite touch and the storage area.
marked the box, I took some scalp position , to bring home a few pips, using mainly the resistance 200 and TL on 1min.
PO sell placed under the area of the previous break-proof 9600 waited.
decided to enter short on the effort of the price to go up, with the two doji denial, one straight on the TL and...
wooo!!! (usd news)
the price breaks the delay and splashing down 80 pips !! how lucky!!
now returned short after PB to other ongoing +22, target 9512
edit TP hit +48
