{quote} Hi Caatinga, In addition to the quoted post, I am also attaching your PM below. //---------------------- Hello Khalil, I've been reading the thread LVC and last Friday I had 100% success (with the entries (which are not entries as it seams) that the indicator LVC-04 gave me on NZDJPY and CADJPY. Unfortunelly today, Monday and in some other pairs I had no success at all. I was looking and reading the explanations on the thread but I failed to understand the logic behind it. How do you say if a candle is giving you a Long signal? Do you look...

Thanks for your answer Khalil

Now it's brighter and clearer. I see that I was lucky last Friday. Maybe because the market was ranging.
The thing that might confuse a bit are the other arrows, together with the entry signals of the indicator they don't add I mean they are not in the same place. See below. I placed an arrow at the begining of the candle that gave me an alarm from your indicator. The other arrows are from the indicator itself...

The New LVC Alarm fires after "Future Bars" at the same time the New LVC appears (6 bars back). \

Which indicates you to look for an opposite entry.

what about to trade a low volume candle in terms of VSA?
volume needs to be smaller then the 2 candles prior to be NS ND (nosupply nodemande)
then when high/low is broken to the opponent direction of the low candle its the trigger to go that direction

VSA Volume Spread Analysis. If you don't know this you are not a Volume trader.

I dont know if someone have same experience I just recognized that in a down trend more blue arrows show up.
settinge future bars=1

here in this chart showing 13 blue arrows against 3 red !

Abokwaik what is the difference of a half arrow and a full arrow. I see 2 kind.
Also the real volume seems sometimes even higher then the previous.

Hi!

The two types of arrow are in fact the same arrows, but some have a wihte cross on top. That's why they look diferent. Those that have the cross are those who have some previous signal closed, so a positive trade.

Why do you think that volume in currency futures will give any indication of supply and demand in the underlying spot market? A great deal of volume in forex futures is simply arbitrage against the spot market. To see this point made clear, take a look at a front month contract before it becomes liquid - all the volume you see there will be arbitrage volume - now how does that look compared to the liquid month volume?

Futures have a completely different microstructure to spot fx due to things like the FIFO order books of the exchanges, so the way active and passive orders interact to lead to completed transactions in forex is also different.

Unless you're looking at a big, broad picture (i.e. daily volume or something), I wouldn't put too much faith in the information value in currency futures.

As you have mentioned about daily volume or tick volume, this is actually what we are looking for. If you know that 60% of all spot transaction between banks and tier brokers went through "EBS spot dealing system" which is fully owned by ICAP pls in London. the rest of the volume is traded on Reuters. so IMO following the spot transactions volume is 'somehow' possible.

I combined my entry strategy ( which was also designed by Khalil) with LVC method, and the results were great

As it appears in the attachment here , all trades were taken on 1m and 15m charts.

What I like most is the "added" confidence to the whole trading process.

I have to thank KHALIL and HUKAM for their great work here.

Went to fish on 4h chart
I ignored the roles , put my pending orders depending on other entry system !!, just ignored a crystal clear signals and went direct to the opposite in a higher time frame.

the issue is that I am trading that manual , and I am busy most of the time and I will be for the middle of next month, BUT I WILL DO MY BEST TO KEEP POSTING ON DAILY bases my results for at least ONE MONTH , as I think it is a winning trading strategy.
