hi,fxpro. I am a trader form China , i open a account from fxpro. i want trade the HongKong HangSeng index , many others bokers have the HK50 Cash in their trade list, but i can't find it in fxpro MT4. Maybe you should add it ,as the hangseng market is one of the largest stock market in the world .
I would advise against opening fixed spread account with Fxpro. I opened fixed spread account after getting attracted by spreads mentioned on their website. There is special clause in their terms which says that higher spreads will apply in abnormal market conditions, i.e. news events. But I see that such high spread is applied a lot of the times throughout the day regardless of news events. Right now their floating spread is 1.6 pips for GBPUSD, but on fixed spread account its the special higher spread 3 pips. Market condition is currently as normal as it can be which is evident by their very low floating spread. I think I should open floating spread account, paying double spread isn't feasible as I scalp.
Some people complain about Fxpro re-quotes. But I find it extremely beneficial. I have account with Forex.com as well, they have never given re-quote, but will fill my order regardless of slippage, sometimes its 10-20 pips off the price I choose to buy.

Thanks for your comment in relation to the cTrader spreads just before the market close every Friday, we are aware that spreads tend to widen significantly at this time, however this is a common market practice and these prices are streamed directly from an Aggregation of our Liquidity Providers. Though this is certainly inconvenient there is very little which we can do to avoid this, we have spoken to each of our LPs in order to improve the pricing at this time, however they have assured us that this is the best pricing which they can provide at this time. Spreads at this time will commonly widen as LPs tend to withdraw from the market and they have very little interest in taking additional positions prior to the weekend.

When trading through an ECN environment, clients are very much exposed to the pricing of LPs and we would advise that traders have sufficient capital to sustain any widened spreads which are experienced at the market close and often at the market open also. As a FX Broker we strive to ensure our clients are getting the best pricing available at all times and we can assure you that we will continue to try and improve the pricing for our clients.

I have noticed that it happens on market close on Friday. Although currently FXpro close price is below investing.com's. The difference in chart is because they use different time.

Thanks for your comment in relation to FTSE, please be advised that at the time of your comment our FTSE100 contract had ceased updating, leading to the difference you see with Investing.com

We have experienced a technical issue with our LP which we expect to be resolved shortly.

It also mess up the chart as I always have unusually long bars at Friday close.

If I have Hedged positino open (One Buy + One Sell),,, and I kept them over weekend, then market opened after weekend, with large Gap,,, how is my Margin going to be impacted?

This is one of the "downside" when you trade on ECN. Just move all your funds to fxvault after you done trading on Friday. That's what I do. And my trading experience fxpro has been great.

Your P&L is minus spread * cost per pip. Your margin for hedging position is the same as your margin for the initial open position. Your available margin = balance - margin required - P&L

I hope I answered that correct. If not fxpro can clarify on this.

Dear Al-Agha,

The margin required for those two positions won’t be affected since it was calculated when the positions were opened.
So if, for example, the margin requirement of opening those positions was 100 USD, this won’t change until at least one of them is closed or another position opens .

However, on market openings and especially when there are big gaps, usually the spreads are getting wider and this will result at a decrease of the margin level.
If the margin level drops below 20% (this is for FxPro) then the client will be stopped-out automatically.

Any reason why aus/usd has gone upto 4.7 spread? That plus the commission both ways is ridiculous. I cant see any important news events either
